The plaintiff says he watched the defendant’s dog, but now she’s stiffing him on his pay. He’s suing for what he’s owed. The defendant says she paid him everything he was owed, and he even threatened to keep her dog.

exactly!! how the hell is his mom going to say “oh yeah he does this with every dog” and not see how that’s problematic & causes the clients concern? the defendant still should have paid him and she’s wrong for the but his behavior is so off putting. i get being emotional, i’m an emotional person as well but maybe he should consider a different career if he’s going to ask to keep every dog and is caused emotional distress everytime a dog leaves. it seems pretty clear his parents enable him though. i’d be freaked out if a guy who was watching my pet did that to me especially after dealing with a miserable surgery!

I once offered to adopt a dog that was neglected. The owner acted just like this lady and insulted me accusing me of trying to ' take' her dog. Been there. @@thefonzkissno, I was friends with the defendant who does this all the time, scams people, uses them, etc. She has gone through several dog walkers. Don’t you all find it strange that she hired him, he had been working for her over a year, comes across as completely disabled (that was the first time the plaintiff saw her walk without assistance & walk normal), asks him to help her with errands & stuff around the house because she claimed she was completely disabled, her some wouldn’t help her out & asked the plaintiff to board her dog several times? She constantly was complaining how she couldn’t take care of the dog & was getting in debt & couldn’t afford to pay him & her friends didn’t want to keep giving her the money like in the past so she comes up with this idea of he tried to steal my dog. She has scammed so many people out of so much money. Why do you think she has had to move so many times in just a few years? She doesn’t pay her rent. She doesn’t pay her dog walkers. She doesn’t pay her friends back.

"He does this with all dog walkers", says the plaintiffs mother about her son. It is good that a dog carer actually cares for the dogs they mind, however this sounds like a mom making excuses for her son. As for the defendant, she listened to JM explain the legalese of "Duress", that what she went through does not meet the legal standard. Five minutes later she stands in her exit interview stating that she was under duress signing the paper. "Thick as this desk" as JJ would say!

Exactly. If you boarded your dogs, wouldn't you want somebody that likes your dogs to watch them instead of somebody that doesn't? This is The Kid's business. Of course he offered to continue watching Leo after she returned from the hospital. The best place to go after more business are current customers. The plaintiffs don't want their stinking dog... They want increased business. Kid took great care of Leo; defendant is a piece of sh*t.

Wish you knew the real story & not the horrible editing job. The defendant complained every day, numerous times a day how she couldn’t take care of the dog & how he wasn’t eating & how he was destroying the house, etc. so they offered to take the dog & if not then, perhaps another family but they edited all that out. She has done this to other people & has gone through numerous dog walkers. The plaintiff not only dog walked her dog & boarded her dog numerous times because she kept asking, he did errands for her, help her with her cooking, helped her with her laundry, helped her pack & move, etc. If he was so terrible, why would she keep calling him to come back & help month after month? I didn’t see him tear up but if he did, it would have been because he felt bad for the dog knowing the living conditions the dog is now in. This owner lives in a small house with a high energy dog that has no fence. She can’t walk him. She lets him go outside & refuses to put a collar with an iD tag on him & they live right near a major parkway & expressway. And yes I know the plaintiffs. No one would be saying what they’re saying if they knew them & knew the defendant.

Creepy case.....I wish she had just paid the $200 and cut him off by taking the high road.....but then TPC wouldn't have this episode to make everyone aware, that these professional dog walkers are choosing that career path for a reason (because that's the only job they are capable of doing, maybe because of autism or some other mental challenge.....) And then, suddenly the dog runs away.....there was another pet care case. The defendant was creepy, some kind of little goth girl with no empathy. The pet died in her care. I think it jumped out a window and the owners came back to find it dead in a bush? And the creepy lady was saying that it ran away and she never looked in the bush for it? It was something weird like that. JM asked her a question and she just rolled her eyes and blurted - Jesus Christ! - at her.....watch out for these creepy pet sitters! Pay a friend to watch your pet.....(and cancel the vacation plans that force you to find a random person at the last minute, like that other case - why would someone hire a random stranger on the internet who has a really creepy vibe???)
