The plaintiffs are a married couple. Their apartment was being renovated, so the wife went to her mom’s house and the husband stayed at his ex-girlfriend’s house. He brought all of his belongings to the ex-girlfriend’s house, and he claims she kicked him out but kept his stuff. They’re suing for two cats, four kittens, a television, PlayStation, and PlayStation games. The defendant, the ex-girlfriend, says she agreed to let him stay for three days, but he overstayed his welcome. She argues the plaintiff got his belongings back.

There’s clearly more history and reasons behind her actions. But what she did was disgusting. You could tell by the daughters reactions that her mom wasn’t always like this to this extent. The daughter is a beautiful and commendable young woman for standing by her mom but sticking to her own convictions on what her mom did wrong and not just leaving the courtroom. 🤲

Some kids see how a parent acts and does the complete opposite. My brother and I did this with our dad. Basically did everything opposite of what he did in life. You can learn from other people's poor life choices for sure.

A whole lot of lying going on here and of course, the phones always got broken and no backup for proof. The Plaintiff's wife seems to be the only one who's completely in the dark and being honest. And I'm sorry that the defendant's daughter got dragged into it. I believe she's being honest as well.

I thought the judge was so caught up with the cats that she overlooked, to any great extent, what this guy did to his wife! I was very disappointed that the guy was not royally reamed out while his wife looked so lost. The judge finally said something to her seemingly as after thought. I know that animals are important but I just kept looking at the wife being less important as those cats.

This is so true. Plus he flat out lied to the defendant as well. She thought he was separated from his wife and they had a chance at a relationship. I personally don't think she should have had to pay for his belongings. But putting the cat and kittens out in the cold was so wrong.

JM sounded depleted at the end of the case when she said her final few words. I could never discard helpless animals for any reason! I’ve had rescue dogs that I couldn’t get right, that were so set in there ways and still didn’t discard them like she just did. Disgusting.
