OMG This is the best episode I have seen. The defendant should be in jail for fraud. And for the other guy to stand there and try to support him. After hearing all of what dude was doing, I would have been so embarrassed I would have wanted to slither out of court.

This kind of reminds me of a situation my family and I was in. Before covid, our landlord sold the house without telling us and she asked us to moved out in one month. Long story short, we didn't have a lot of money so we were going to live in a trailer park and we spent almost all our money on storage and deposit. He ended up not selling us his trailer and we were never able to find him. We had spent all our money so we couldn't sue and we would have been homeless if it weren't for our ex-neighbors from when I was a child helping us and renting us two rooms. They even let us not pay rent until we got back on our feet. I feel bad for the other families this man stole money from. I hope they are doing ok.

Deposit case again.. In Norway both part has to go to the bank, open "deposit account", and the money can not be touched by any part. The money stay till the day the tenant mooves and both part has to sign and agree if everything is ok. Very secure!
