I am shocked that this adult child brought his 13 year old who is smiling throughout the session to witness her dad's best moment. He is teaching his daughter how to be an angry adult. You should be so proud dad. NOT!!! SHAME ON YOU. the defendant buried himself by continuing to pay him instead of firing him.

It's not like it was over 100 or 200 dollars it was 1800!! I would be using bad language with a mad asf attitude too..

In plaintiff defense, think about it, you get hired to do a job, you don't get paid, bad words are going to fly out. It's not the first time, won't be the last.

Kids pick up on their parents actions. My two children never heard me say profanity until one day they were in their teens and don't remember what they did but pissed me off and I looked at them and said, "I'm about ready to whip somebody's @$$" They were shocked and you could hear a pin drop. LOL I apologized and to this day as married adults in their 30's they've never heard me use cuss words again but they remember that day.

Plaintiff bought the daughter to show he has a responsibility to provide for her & this guy is stiffing him on money he earned. One thing he showed her is don’t let someone cheat you! Stand up for yourself. $1800 bucks is a lot of money.

As a once-upon a time small business owner, self run, I learned I had to keep records of everything from the first interaction to the final closure of the project. I could NOT count on the client to keep their own records so i took on that responsibility as well. It's a tough lesson to learn as we all want to be treated with respect and dignity. But if the sub flubbs their work or the owner short changes you, take them to court and present ALL of your records INCLUDING p[hotos~!~~

Just saw the plaintiffs obituary…sigh. Was only 51 when he passed, in spite of all this I really don’t think he was a bad father. Seeing that he had anger issues I imagine he probably had some heart or blood pressure problems.

Guys clam down you can dress regularly in civil court it makes a good good impression to dress nice in court but criminal court is way different this is civil someone shouldn’t come in with short shorts and breast out but what there wearing there’s nothing wrong plus it’s a 13 years old girl of course she’s going to laugh the father probably doesn’t have the best judgment but don’t have to say how there dressing and the little girl laughing

Seems to me that there was a huge miscommunication problem between these two litigants for the construction job in question throughout! The incident and confrontation at the funeral talked about here was very sad and unfortunate. The text messages read aloud were bad as well.

I understand the plaintiffs frustration and anger but there is a big difference between handling things like an adult and a child. There is no excuse for cursing at someone via text! Be the better person!!
