I am really worried as he usually says players are fit but then not playing. STONES is a big worry for me. I don't think REAL would have spaces to score on the second leg. The fatigue is another problem. ARSENAL has many good and young players who are running like horses at this time of the season.

@@thefairobserver97 My biggest worry is Pep. Love Pep but his inability to adapt his tactics, regarding his high line (higher than last season and has proven to be far more risky) is my greatest worry and why I don't we will win it due to our vulnerability at the back. Remember, Pep tried Walker last season in the wingback role v NU and it was a disaster and so he stopped and yet Pep is making him play that high nearly every game. We have the same defensive personnel as last season (Gvardiol an addition) and yet we have far fewer clean sheets and have conceded more goals this season with 4 games to go than we have in each of the last 3 seasons in their entirety. It is not like our entire defense just all fell off a cliff over last summer and have been consistently poor, regardless of who is playing, relative to last season. That would be statistically impossible. It is Pep's change in tactics and it is risky. How many games can you actually say we have looked solid at the back in the PL this season? From Luton Town to Real Madrid to Copenhagen to Wolves to Palace to MU to AV and Chelsea and many more, not only have we looked shaky at the back, everyone of the teams I mentioned, some on more than 1 occasion, have all scored on us down our wide open flanks with the counter attack, and many more teams have gotten great chances to do so but could not convert when it counted. We have never been this vulnerable under Pep going back to the 2019/20 season. Yet with all this evidence, Pep persists. Last season, we played a flat back 4 when we wanted to be a bit more conservative (think the Real Madrid game 1st leg) and if we wanted to be more aggressive and risky, we'd invert Stones and our FBs would overlap. This season, we are playing CBs as wingbacks FFS and it has been a mess (City have the worst defense against the counter attack for example, and this does not seem to matter one bit). Pep is refusing to adapt at all which is crazy from a risk perspective. Its like not playing Rodri in the CL final but instead of one game, its been the whole season and I am already upset we crashed out of the CL due to his high line tactics but to potentially lose a history making 4-peat due to this high line is borderline nuts. Praying I am wrong, but given how Pep has played all season, I have no evidence to suggest that he will adapt his tactics

@@MCFCTheMadHatter Brilliant analysis. Exactly what I use to say that we are too vulnerable at the back. It is amazing how PEP can't see what you see. For me, his big problem is to have only one central defensive midfield (RODRI) who his the player maker at the same time. He is bringing SILVA and KDB to the defensive midfielders, but it is not their natural roles and they are attacking, so very difficult to recover. Only a miracle can save us for the title. STONES has been injured. He is the one who gives defensive and attacking stability of the team.

@@thefairobserver97 Thank you so much for the kind words and agree with your points as well. I’ve posted on Footy Judge Mo recently (past 5 days on one of his morning shows) where I go quite deep in analysis. I talk about how the high line is also a major issue in our atrack with Haaland when playing against a low block team - our slow buikdup plays allows the opposition defense to reset their shape and the rest of the team can flood the box. This sucks all the space out that Haaland would normally use thereby making him nearly useless (outside a header) as well as making it much more difficult for our attackers to score given the lack of space. The Real Madrid game, 2nd legs illustrates this issue beautifully. If we’re being honest, both RM games exposed our biggest, second biggest weakness: high line issue with major defensive vulnerabilities down the flanks in both games (RM scored 3:4 goals bc Akanji and Walker were so far up, they got burned on the counter. Pep played a flat back 4 last season game 1, and overlapping FBs with Stones inverting game 2 which was measured risk in each game whereas this season, he played the riskiest way possible). And game 2 showed the defensive vulnerability to the counter and also the choking effect it had on our attack when combined with a slow buildup. 33 shots in that game, 8 on target with only 1 goal is embarrassing, yet Pep didn’t try to address it like he did last season in many games. It’s almost like the flexibility and adaptability he exercised last season in his tactics which got him the treble all went out the window this season. It’s like those lessons he should’ve learned are now alien concepts which is so frustrating. Lastly, the high line not only leaves us exposed, but it also forces major defensive errors. When we drew at Chelsea, 3 goals we conceded were from the counter. The 4th was a rash tackle by Dias (forced defensive error) due to yet another counter. 2 points dropped bc of it. Then the CP game at the Etihad: 75th min we’re 2-0 until Walker gets burned on the counter bc he was too far up the pitch and they scored. A little while later, Silva loses the ball in our half, Walker gets burned again and now Foden is defending for our lives, jumps in on a rash tackle in the box, pen given goal scored ans we drop another 2 points. Same happened with the Tot game. 3 games that I think we can fairly say points were dropped due directly to the high line and our teams inability to play it (you can’t honestly expect natural CBs and an aging Walker to be able to play as wingbacks, yet Pep does even when it’s so obvious it isn’t working). Love Pep, but this high line insanity will likely cost us the league like his lack of CDM cost us the CL v Chelsea. I pray I’m proven wrong, but I just have a bad feeling about all this
