Phil Foden spoke ahead of the final weekend of action in the Premier League on Wednesday with Manchester City needing a win from their final game against West Ham United.
Foden knows all about title run-ins with Manchester City winning two of their previous five league titles under Pep Guardiola on the final day of the season.
Foden was speaking ahead of receiving his award from the Football Writers Association, he was voted as the player of the season for 2024.

He might well get citys player of the season too, from a shortlist of him, Haaland and Rodri .... young Phil has 'matured' as a player, and has done exceptionally well this season, especially on the goal front ...... i'd much rather he's in the City team, than out of it, thats for sure. He's saying all the right things here too .... he had some phenomenal players blocking his way into the first team a few seasons back, but he persevered, and it paid off for both him and the club.

Ilkay Gundon was a great player for city, he linked up well and played his part, but what he was really known for at city was his important goals in important matches. Phil as also, always done that at city as well to be honest, and for a young guy who's scored 85 goals in 268 game's for City, compared to a 33 year old who's scored 89 goals in 566 career matches and 60 goals in 300 games for City, really tells you how much better phil as always been compared to Gundon. Bernardo silva and Kevin fair enough but Gundon has never been on phils level in my opinion, more experienced yes but for technical ability no.
