Honey, i am 62, I have been an Elvis fan since i was 5. I remember watching his NBC Special in Dec of 1968 on our tv set at home. It thrills me to know that a young lady of today loves to listen to Elvis! Im proud of you dear, may you have many years of thrills yet to come!

Question how can a man who never learned to read music never wrote a song he sang but has the musical genius to put together a heart stopping show every single time? That’s how you know what ELVIS PRESLEY had was a God given gift. He felt the songs in his whole being and danced the way it made him feel. Priceless!

I think him not writing the music had a lot to do with the sincerity and excitement of the performances. He wasn't just singing; he was listening to the music with the audience and loving it just as much as they did. It made his performances joyous.

I think it had a lot to do w/ the loss of his identical twin---that haunted him his whole life, and I think he felt that somehow the specter of his twin was responsible for his inspirations and talents---he was living for both of them

My Uncle worked at the Hotel as a Chef in Hawaii. My Aunt flew me to Hawaii to see him in for his satellite concert! We got to go to the back exit area as he walked down the hall to his room, he wiped his forehead on a hotel linen napkin and tossed it to Red and Red dropped it in a bin. After they left, I ran over to grab it. the others in bin were sheets, the napkin was still damp and had streaks of his makeup on it! I still have that napkin today, framed! 💖

I’m 60 years old and I’m from Switzerland (Lucerne), I’ve been listening to Elvis since I was 10 years old, I watched Elvis' live concert in Hawaii in 1973. I appreciate many kinds of good music, I also know all the songs of Johnny Cash and June Carter (Great) and other great artists. However, Elvis remains the greatest musician and entertainer of all time, but in all his songs, all the power of his soul comes out. One could also say that he gave his whole heart to his listeners. Forreal! This is probably the first time I've watched any Elvis at all when he was in his top Vegas years (& only familiar with the later mess like everyone else unfortunately... 😔) and it's an absolute treat to watch him just kill it like this! There's absolutely no question how completely dialed-in he is towards every last music-related thing happening in his midst because that sense of completely commanding the stage comes through so loud & clear that it more or less eclipses any of the other parts of his personality you can see on display here, imo

Right! I’m so surprised that none of my family ever really was into him, and yet I just got into him recently! I’m 15 and I gotta admit he’s truly an icon. Such an icon to where when you look up “Michael Jackson vs__”, Elvis will be one of the first to show up in the search results. Elvis movie was great too 🤍❤️🖤

I am a 75 yr old grandma . Loved Elvis then- love him now. This is my favorite performance. Watch it everyday. Have watched the Elvis movie everyday since it came out and have 2 copies. I have all the books and so many cd’s and DVD’s of his music and live performances and of course 6 Elvis t- shirts. There has not been nor will there ever be anyone like him again. He was very gifted !! ❤️

What a cool cat. Everything you see is authentic and original, that is, no voice coach, no choreography or stage manager/trainer, no special effects or high tech. props etc. etc. He oozes charisma and stage presence that capture the audience to its core, have not seeing anyone like him ever. Definitely one of a kind!!👏

He made singing well seem easy & as for his looks & charisma, well, he’s in a class all his own. Only celebrity anywhere near as handsome since Elvis is Johnny Depp - & he’s also a lovely, funny guy that appreciates his fans more than anything… Both gorgeous, talented men, inside & out😍

I'd just turned 19 on 14th Aug & was a rocker so Elvis was a huge influence to me, my dad came upto my bedroom & told me after he heard it on the news, I was devastated. My idol died 2 days after my birthday. Also, his mom died the day I was born. It kind of freaks me in a nice way now. RIP all Elvis's family who've all died too young 💔

When I was young, it was a sin to like Elvis. He was the guy old people liked, but when I was around 20, I decided to really listen to him and to this day, 40 years later, I can honestly say, he’s got one of the greatest voices I’ve ever heard in my life!!

He was polite, kind, gave us undeniably the greatest vocals I've ever heard!!! Looked great, too. OH! If only I had gone down and gotten a lavender scarf. But I, too wanted to be polite. Ahhh.

@@jodejette yeah... from what a nurse told me if they're attached to one umbilical cord, they are identical (single umbilical artery). But if there are two umbilical arteries, sometimes they don't look alike. My sister has twins, one umbilical cord and I could never tell Sean and Jeremy apart until they were teenagers and changed their hairstyles. 😀
