Peperomias are small plants which are similar to hoyas in their care. Both are succulent like with fleshy leaves & stems. They make wonderful houseplants & can be found in both hanging & upright forms. This is all about peperomia care & how to keep these sweet beauties healthy and happy.
I grew 2 peperomias in containers in my garden in Santa Barbara. They grew in bright shade & benefited from the coastal fog. I’ve since moved to Tucson, & like most of you, now grow them as houseplants.
These are the ones I have: Peperomia obtusifolia (Baby Rubber Plant), Peperomia obtusifolia variegata, Peperomia clussifolia rainbow, Peperomia amigo marcello, & Peperomia caperata rosso.

I just got a peperomia jelly bean it's beautiful with green, creamy white and edged in pink. I appreciate your content and glad I found your channel. The one I got today has lots of shoots so I'm hopeful!

I have a tricolour variety that barely grows, just sits there. I grow it indoors in Canada and didn’t water in for months once. It just shrivelled a little but perked up with water. Almost like a faux plant. Hope your rash clears soon. 🌵

Hi Nell I love pepperomia plants and just received 2 more that have small leaves. I live the in the tropics so I usually have mine outside. I'm presently adjusting some from cuttings inside. If you get new ones with small leaves, please make a video on them. Thanks and hope you feel better.

I have this one! I have one that is full and so pretty but early on part of it died from over watering. I am really careful now as I hope it is around a long time! I love the big leaves and coloring on it

Hi - I'm feeling fine except for the constant itching. Wish I could give you my cuttings too - I compost a lot of them. Calatheas like high humidity & low to medium light. I should get 1 again & try to grow it here in the desert. If I do, I'll do a video! Nell

Love your videos, thank you for all your knowledge. What kind of fertilizer do you use? I get confused there are so many varieties of Peperomias do I use cactus/succulent or regular 10-10-10 -- organic? I know you like worm castings but how often? I have learned the hard way about over watering I destroyed a couple so I purchased a water gauge and still overwatered one. They can be unforgiving, do you wait until they wilt or is there a better tell? Should have stuck to Pothos they are much kinder.

I have a question for ya... On the bottom by the drainage holes there's a yellow "fungus" I'm guessing but I'm not sure. It's not affecting my plant at all, but I'm just not sure what is going on!! Please help!! Thank you

Hi - Fungus' usually don't effect a plant. They feed on decaying matter in higher moisture conditions. Nell

I have 2 ginny peperomia. I potted in terra cotta...what do you suggest? My other peperomia osi are in the plastic pot....haven't potted yet. Help me out!!
