I'm here on the comments for the update of these repotted peperomia plants, thanks btw on sharing these. Hope mine would survive too I just repotted them and I sensed that the soil stays too wet for too long. I'm going to buy terra cota pots as well

The thing I found to keep my pepperoni alive is to put it into a terra-cotta pot. get it out of those plastic pots so it can dry out in between watering 😎

I have my only One (literally) one leaf peperomia on ICU and she is still surviving and hoping she is rooting. Thank you for sharing! ♥️

I had one leaf rooting as well and it lasted well for about 2 months, albeit not popping the surface, then I decided to move it to another prop container and it died within 2 days :( Rotted overnight, I'd checked it the evening before and it was fine.

Iloved watched your videos! I will definitely look to your advice when potting my peperomias. Mine now are planted in a rich organic soil mixed with sand, an insane amount of perlite and a 1 inch layer of small gravel at the bottom of each pot. I'm hoping that gives them enough air a d drainage. One thing I was very excited a out was my polybotria. It lost a very healthy leaf ( I may have bumped it,) so I got a small, short, clear glass out and filled it halfway with water. Then I popped the leaf in stem first and balanced the leaf on the rim. Three weeks later it had six half inch roots! It is now in its own inch and a half pot under a grow light doing well! I hope it makes it to planthood!!!

That should definitely help them!! I have a feeling I'm going to have to change the soil in these again in a few months to a chunkier soil mix but I just haven't got it in me right now. 😂 ohhh I love when cuttings grow out huge roots, it's so satisfying! 👌

I love your content so much, your skills with plants are obviously great, but your skills with styling your plants and your video editing/general video aesthetic are fantastic too. I do wish you'd have a little bit more confidence in yourself and your abilities because you clearly know what you're talking about

Hi there! Wow, you're so kind, thank you so much for your kind words. 😍 I guess my timidity sometimes comes from not wanting to sound like a know-it-all...hahaha! @@ThatFoliageLife I honestly felt the same about the variegated scandens, is it the obtusifolia that has the same white/green patchy variegation? I think it is, it's almost like an N'joy pothos in the variegation. It was mostly the obtusifolias I had seen in shops and I didn't love it either but I came across this scandens in a hanging basket, with these heart shaped leaves, and suddenly it needed to be mine! I left with the variegated polybotra and was so excited but we were in holiday and the scandens was singing to me from afar so I had to go back for it. I don't know what it was but the combination just made me happy 😊 And I've written a novel, sorry, that's kinda my thing 😅 But keep the content coming I love it. I feel closer to you also because your Australian and most plant you tubers seem to be from North America or Europe and you seem more local somehow 😛 Stay safe, we've gone back into lock down too so I feel you on the lack of supplies!
