Unfortunately a lot of pjo fandom have problems with Rick now too. He’s even on the list of authors you should boycott. This is because of a post he wrote about Isreal and Palestine. Where he stayed neutral. And went from saying it’s nothing we can do to to make it better, to promoting his books. Which was valid to critique. But he did seem to talk as if he was supporting Palestine (tho some thought otherwise), but he have now donated money to Gaza on his insta post and encouraging others to do so. And have deleted that old post. So I’m wondering if he actually supports Palestine. But many people are boycotting his books and show still, because they only know of the post, and because Disney+ supports Isreal. But it’s not even apart of the target for boycott cuz it’s literally impossible to boycott Disney. But of course it should be pressured so pirating could be good but I doubt the boycott for pjo will help do that. We know how badly it went for the Hogwarts Legacy game boycott. But it’s good to stay with morals and at least try to do good. So I definitely support pirating. But idk about not buying his books…since he has shown support for Palestine. But idk.

I mean though I don't support what she says at all but I still like the fandom and pre-ordered the game before all the boycotting stuff, and honestly I don't know how I feel bout Rick with that because he seems to have supported Palestine but had also supported Gaza but maybe he supported it before he found out about Gaza supporting Hamas but idrk so I'll just stay neutral bout his point of view

1:28 I personally think, as a fan of both PJO and HP, that the first wizards were children of Hecate, and that all wizards since then have been Legacies or children of Hecate. Muggle-borns just belong to families in which some generations have had latent abilities that they never unlocked.

I tried reading the Harry Potter books, but it was really boring, so I barely made myself go through the fourth book and when I started reading Percy Jackson a less than month ago, I started criticising Harry Potter because I finally got to taste good books, Percy Jackson has so much better writing both in characters and plot so it was super easy to finish the first five Percy Jackson books for less than a month I just gotta, say, I wish there were more edits talking about the books rather than the movie and show.

I love both Harry Potter and Percy Jackson just about equally, but I think HP sticks out in front by a fair bit because of the fantasy vibes and British accents. I can't compare the main characters super easily (though I feel I have to give credit to HP since the trio archetype in that came first), but the supporting characters in HP just have more time and development. The Weasley Twins and Neville are probably my favorite supporting characters of all time ngl. I do prefer Kronos and Co as main villains over Voldemort though. So yeah, plenty of love to go around!
