2 to 4 thousand dollars? I got my labradadoodle from our local animal shelter! $120 Best money spet

Just lost my labradoodle last Monday, we had noodle for 13 years best money I ever spent. Noodle traveled all over Europe with us in the car . Still can’t believe he’s gone my best friend.

I had a Labradoodle for almost 10 years he was my best friend, lost him in November by I honestly feel so lost without my Monroe, He was the most loving dog I’ve had, he was a big dog who acted like he was a lap dog inside and he loved hikes.

There is an 8th reason not to get a Labradoodle. My Labradoodle just turned 4 and is incredibly smart and understands much of what I say. He absolutely is an incredible dog, full of personality and we have formed a tight bond. Separation anxiety is a problem, but its mostly on my part. i get very upset when I am away from him for a long period of time, but hey, I'll deal with it. I love my dog so much, he has brought so much joy to my life. Now the 8th reason not to get a Labradoodle is that they don't live long enough. I know when the time comes, I will be emotionally devasted. I know that can be the case with any dog, but these are dogs you can really bond with and one has to be prepared and be able to deal with a devasting lost down the road. To anyone that has gone through the pain of losing dog, you have my sincere and deepest sympathies.

Don’t let this scare you from getting a labradoodle. I have a 7 month labradoodle and she is awesome. All this stuff is manageable and easy to handle. They are great dogs and a have a lot of personality!

one thing he forgot to mention was the fact that labradoodles come in small, medium and large sizes so they are not all big. they also have different personalities so yes some might be high energy but there are also labradoodles who prefer to sleep and chill :)

TBH this sounds more like a list of reasons why you just shouldn't get a dog. These are traits that are common in tons of breeds and mixes.

We got our first labradoodle 2.5 years ago at the young age of 9 weeks old. She was the craziest puppy we have ever had but wow, now she's just a wonderful and very smart dog. She brings so much happiness to everyone in the family. She would rather be with people than dogs except for her boyfriend, who is a huge Rhodesian Ridgeback. My girl is 41 lbs and truly never took a nap while she was a pup but now she loves her naps, car rides and walks. She does go with us everywhere we can take her. It is true, she wants to be everywhere we are including the bathroom.... ugh she loves our granddaughter and when she's out here visiting, our girl will camp outside our granddaughter's bedroom door waiting for her to wakeup. She's just so fun and she loves everyone in the family 💯! She's only thrown up once and that was the other day, and she was under the weather all day, but as soon as Daddy got home, she had a full rebound. Thankfully, I am retired, so she has me most of the day..

Apparently, this guy has no idea what he's talking about. Labradoodles come in in three sizes. Large, medium, and small. They even come in toy sizes. I have a 2 year old medium-sized labradoodle, and I work 8 hours a day 5 days a week, and I leave him home alone when I'm at work. He's the sweetest dog, never barks, and very friendly. He eats normal kibble from walmart, with no special diet. The only thing I would agree with this video is the grooming. I brush him every day and wash him once a month. The best decision I ever made was getting him. Don't listen to this guy. They are great dogs 🐕 ❤️ ♥️

I adopted an adult labradoodle that was neglected by his former owner. I don’t know if or how he was socialized as a puppy. Yes he has energy and I walk him twice a day. His impulse control is not great. But other than that, he is sweet, patient, can stay home alone for 9 hours on those days I sometimes go to the office without trashing the furniture of chewing my shoes, is a bit stressed when we try new things but does his utmost to stay calm and behave. I took him in without thinking it through, but I lucked out to have a dog that is always sweet and 95% well behaved. Love my doodle:

I have a labradoodle he’s everything I got him at 2 months he 8 months now I work 17 hours sometimes and he’s just fine. He love his life! I did take him everywhere with me but now I’m getting him use to being alone and knowing I will always come back for him!

I have a labradoodle and she's an absolutely amazing dog. Listens really well and picks up on stuff fast. I haven't had any problems with her but if all labradoodles are half as good as mine I highly recommend a labradoodle.

I've had 3. The oldest passed on suddenly at 13 years. The 12 year old is healthy as he's always been and is a beautiful specimen. The new puppy is fantastic. We've purchased only through reputable breeders that do full genetic screenings and health panels and members of the WALA, ALAA & ALCA. We will be getting another puppy in the spring. Bottom line, use only reputable breeders for ANY puppies/breed. I have had poodles all of my life and these dogs are the sweetest most loving dogs I have ever had, with no bad traits. Haters gotta hate

This video should not be taken seriously. Every one of these reasons can be made for all breeds especially working dogs, pure bred or mixed. All breeds have genetic predispositions to disease. Behavioral issues are not the dogs problem but the owners in 99.99% of cases. Any dog can be an amazing companion if socialized well and trained consistently. If you want a pet get a gold fish if you want a campion get a dog.

We have a labradoodle. Got her as a puppy in 2017 and she’s been great ever since. My dad wanted a lab as he had one before I was born and we went for the doodle aspect as my grandma has dog allergies but does well with poodles. She’s a bundle of joy and who loves everyone and wants nothing more than to play and make you smile We’ve not really had any issues with her like this. When she was younger there were ig some stomach/bathroom issues, but it was more just puppy getting a little excited when you get home

We have to have someone home at all times. Although, he does understand that I am his sole caretaker (mom) and recognizes other family members are his secondary caretakers. He gets very upset when I leave for work. Basically it’s like having a human toddler in a dogs body. His behavior is just that. And we are non stop everyday. So I definitely agree with this video. All around. I am referring to an Australian labradoodle.

I have had my labdood for 3 years now. The only thing I can confirm here is....... they need to run at least 3 times a week. And I mean straight line sprinting. You have to walk them or give them freedom to run. Awesome animals though. Mine loves people and other pets. Oh and I have to admit to grooming.... you can't skip it. I though when getting a labradoodle that didn't shed, I'd have it made, but there is maintenance with the light speed hair growth. Must be groomed otherwise you have tangles. Think you can cut it yourself? I did. But it's such a process and mess to do, it's a pleasure to throw a Hundo plus tip every 6-8 weeks for a groom so I don't have to.

I got one as a puppy and a month and half after we brought him home he contracted parvo we freeked well it cost us 2 grand but i stayed at his side giveing all his iv meds when he needed and what i think was so inportant was i made shur he knew we loved him and wanted him to pull through and was told by the vet later was that he thought he never had a chance he only sold us the meds needed was so we could feel we tryed all we could for him

I am petsitting for my neighbor 's labradoodle, Snoopy, and the only issue I'm having is the strength he has when I'm trying to leash walk him. I've had to drop the leash several times to avoid injury. He is extremely strong. He's 18 months old, and has come from two bad homes, so needless to say, he has had no training. I am older, and have problems with my feet, due to former surgeries l, and a broken fibula. I feel bad, because he is a delightful dog, and I'd like to continue caring for him, but don't want to risk another injury.

So I have a 50lb female Labradoodle. Some of the things on this list are a given. Socializing for example… all dogs need to be socialized from early or you’ll get a dog that’s mean. Common sense but I can tell you that my dog has a sensitive stomach. It’s actually what landed me here. She’s on the best foods possible. Kibble, raw, freeze dried raw, wet, cooked and lightly cooked. Every time she catches a bug she refuses to eat the food she was on when sick. So this is true. I have a dog Walker because she loves me so much and is effected negatively when I work. They are so fiercely loyal and loving that when you’re not there they don’t like it. If you work a lot and have to be gone regularly this isn’t the dog for you. Upkeep for their coats is a lot. I groom her every 4 months and I trim in between visits. I wash and brush her myself and it takes two hours. I take pride in my dogs apparent and her well being. They must be brushed regularly especially behind ears, paws and armpits. If you have trouble with this type of work this isn’t the dog for you. They need a strong leader because they are so intelligent. If u aren’t a boss, they’ll walk all over u lol. My dog is my best friend. She’s the best thing to happen to me. She never goes to the washroom in our home unless she’s been sick and couldn’t help it and she knows it’s wrong and I have to smoothed her with love afterwards because she feels bad and embarrassed. These dogs are fantastic dogs but do need a lot of activities and walks so be prepared

Since a labradoodle is a mix of two breeds you can't say how they are gonna be because you have no idea what traits they will get from each breed 🤷🏼‍♀️ I have 2 labradoodles. Both have been dna tested and ones 91% poodle and the other is 89% however One is 45lbs poodle shaped, soft curly hair, no shedding, companion dog other is 55lbs shaped like a lab, coarse wavy/curly hair, very light shedding, independent dog. They share the same mom and both had standard poodle dads. Both are very well behaved you can find them laying in the floor asleep most days and they are 2yrs old and 11months. Best dogs I ever had!

We have one and she is by far the BEST DOG. They are patient, loving, well behaved, loyal, great personality, smart and your BEST FRIEND.

The stomach sensitivity is easily avoidable. Find a decent dog food brand that they can tolerate, find treats they can stomach, and don’t give table scraps.

if you don't have a fenced yard, don't get a dog. do not buy a crate. dogs do not belong in jails.do not put your dog on a chain outside. dont use neck collars for walks, use a chest collar. be prepared to hug and kiss your labradoodle frequently during the day. if your dog can't have access to your whole house, don't get a dog. dont feed on a schedule. put out several days worth of food in a big bowl with plenty of water for your dog to decide when to eat and how much. let your dog outside to run inside your fence once every hour or two. go out there yourself at least some of the times to sit and enjoy or play. make sure you have toys to prevent chewing of valuables, i.e. shoes, electric cords, any small objects.

If your worried about any size of dog that’s a mix, look for a mini. I have a mini labradoodle and she’s small and only weighs 10 pounds

1. Gut training is real. I'd say my labradoodle has a slightly more sensitive stomach than his lab sire. He handles any dog food & most human food just fine. 2. Duh. They eat a lot too. 3. Exercise requirements are similar to labs. Mine was mixed with an English lab vs field lab, which resulted in a relatively even temperament but still has enough energy to be an effective hunter. I have 4 homeschooling kids, so if I skip a day on the walks, it's noticeable but not the end of the world. 4. Don't buy a dog at all if they can't be around kids & dogs sometimes. 5. I got mine for $800. I trim, brush & bathe him myself. By the time puppy vet stuff was done & I had the crate, bowl etc, I was probably a little over $2k. 6. Yes. The labradoodle greeting is epic. No dog should be crated all day. Mine spends several hours crated on Mondays & sticks close to me the rest of the evening. 7. FACTS. They'll love you for being the boss. This is my first dog as an adult. If you're a strong leader, it's not that hard. Consistency, assertiveness & patience are key. So much more to say on that, but no time.

It depends....I have concluded there are three outcomes to the cross.....either they look like a Standard Poodle but are uncontrolably hyper.....or they look like short fur covered barrels....or they look like just another Stnadard....which is part of the reasn I have Standard poodles instead. (Standards are also large breed active dogs)

I have had many dogs ........I just happen to have two labradoodles right now.......and like all the ones before them......if you love dogs/animals.......to see them happy only improves your life

Labrodoodles are protective dont worry they are super nice and they will love you forever and sensitive stomachs thats not true they dont have those problems cause i have never throws up and they may be big but they are kind and kids love energetic and exercise they dont need to socialize alot they cost nahh not true separation anxiety true but you should be with your dog than working or shopping or hanging with friends and 7th they are strong cause they are protective.

Labradoodles can have high vet costs, especially in the later years of life. They are prone to intervertibral disk disease, and I think hip dysplasia. I read they can have some eye problems too. My labradoodle had IVDD. She was great, but you have to set money aside for them.

Not all dog breeds are good for all people and we tend to buy according to how cute they are before looking into their basic idiosyncrasies and health needs. Pets are a long term commitment and there's always exceptions but this is a good guide. Thank you for the video.

My labradoodle Barney who I used to have would not get separation anxiety he was very independent and loved alone time and sat on his own on the couch.But he still loved people and liked getting patted and would love visitors. Barney loved the water and was very healthy and active I thought he would have made it to 14 15 or 16 he was my best friend I moved on but think about him all the time one day we will see each other in heaven. I now have a labradoodle puppy 6 months old and he loves his food he's very lively.Barney also loved his food labradoodles labradors love food
