I have done some efforts so that you will love this series:
1. Optimised volume: There are 10 different recordings combined in this video, and sound volume is adjusted to the same level not only through the video but also through the whole series of the shipping forecast videos I will post in the future. Also, adverts will not be too loud as sound of this video is optimised not to be too silent.
2. Black screen: For those listening to this video while sleeping, this video will be completely black after one minute so that you are not bothered by bright screen.

I have to admit that I find listening to the shipping forecast very relaxing and it helps me go off to sleep most nights I am so pleased that I recently came across these recordings.

Whenever I listen to the shipping forecast, I imagine myself in my cabin on a fishing boat somewhere in the North Sea, bobbing around. I wonder how far out one can pick up Radio 4.
