Kevlar battery straps… I’ve been 3m dual side tape on mine because I’ve lost so many packs. Thank for the tip.

The v3 carbon driveshaft kit is great for any car with 5mm input on the gears, you can cut them down. Nice video Jim! Building a dual with some 1727’s. Keep pushing bro!

Im building a similar set up. Really appreciate this video very much! On your speed builds do you use the sway bars that come stock or take them off? It looks like they are not on the front and back but just wanted to confirm.

Glad it's a help. No i dont run sway bars , with proper setup for straight line speed running they are unnecessary

I may have missed the section of how you set up sway bars. Do you tighten the 1.5mm grubs on the bar itself?

I actually dont run sway bars on many of my builds, sway bars are to help with body roll so when a car is setup properly and is running straight they are unneeded.

Just curious...but, between the Limitless & VTE2, which do you prefer, and why? I already have a Limitless V2, which I'll be sticking with the Limitless body...but, I do plan on building a second 1/7 - just trying to decide whether to do a Limitless GT, or VTE2 GT. If Limitless, as with this build, I'd go with mostly PP parts.

I like them both , they each have things i like better than the other, Currently the limitless is the faster of the two but ive just start putting more time into the vte2 so we will see how it ends .

@@jamesmccoy204 Got ya. Makes sense...just like there are things I like/dislike about my TLR 22 5.0 & Associated B6.3 (both are 1/10 2WD buggies). On separate note, will pay 2 of the PP CF Limitless be up soon?

I run good quality steel bearings throughout the car ,

I have found Ceramics dont do well in the center driveline , they do ok for wheel bearings but I have found no evidence that they have any real benefits, Not to mention they are higb maintenance and I run 10 to 20 different cars throughout the season and dont want to add more work with no benefits

If any of you have any connections with the tire companies; let them know a tire good for over 200mph is needed.

I have seen results, and the results were not in favor of the Lehner , if there where advantages to running one myself and a few others would have been running them

The single motor mount is from PPS The dual is from Scorched RC
