Nice Job, I would have just used a soft cloth with soap and followed it up with acetone wipe down for any remaining spots for the glass globe cleaning though.

Nice job. When my family moved to a farm in rural Sussex, UK. in 1953,we actually used these type of lamps. As there was no gas, electricity, or mains water. This restoration therefore holds a special interest for me. Thank you for sharing.

well done, I wish I had a sand blaster it would realy help me out. I wish you would speak up a little though, tell people what is going on and such.
