remember listening to the song 3 months back in the hospital. my mom was in the icu. i was crying a lot. i was just sitting in one corner and played this song. i don't know why but i felt a sense of acceptance wash over me. preparing myself for what i knew was coming. it was comforting. it felt like mom wrapping her arms around me. she passed away two days later. i think i now understand why hazel grace said the only person she wanted to talk about agustus's death to was agustus himself. life just goes on; with or without. and she is gone now. and i will never get to see her and feel all the warmth and love she had for me.
