Hi guys,
I finally got my hands on a Nodus and this was worth waiting for. If it wasn;t for the bracelet, this would genuinely have perfect symmetry.

Love the look of the lugs, getting into bombé territory, h-link bracelet looks great...really want to see this in the metal

I use a patina baby blue leather strap with this one (look the seconds hand…) . Beautiful and it’s better fitting than the nice bracelet but I don’t like the way the endlink fall form the lug on the wrist. This dial is a stunner.

Great review mate! Really nice design and specs for the price point. I just pulled the trigger on a Traska Summiteer, but I think you’ve just convinced me to check out Nodus next.

Hey man! Thanks for the comment and support. After owning the Traska and handling the Nodus, I can confirm you're making the right decisions in life 🤣. The Traska is just outstanding, by the Nodus comes very very close on a lot less money. Keep the dream alive man and thanks for the comment.

Looks good Nodus are great value even better if you can get one used especially if you in the uk as the vat and import duties on a new one are a joke

Hi Stuart. Unfortunately this is not the case, I think this was an release pre Node-X! It's a good slightly bigger than it should be though clasp :)

I had to wait 11.52 into the video to find out it has a seiko NH38. REALLY! I sick of seeing this movement in close to every micro brand. Zero chance I'm going to spend a dime on a watch that losses or gains 30 seconds a day. They'd would've been better off with a Metaquartz. I just bought a Swiss dive watch with a ETA2024 and its -3 seconds a day. My seiko Turtle -50!

Hi there, thanks for the comment and support. Unfortunately brands have to work with what they have available to keep a good balance between cost and appeal. This Seiko was regulated to -2 seconds ler day and it will run like that for a very long time. It depends what suits you at the end of the day! Thanks again for the comment

If the Turtle is -50 that means there is something wrong with it. That's beyond the stated tolerances!

I'd agree, but my other NH35s were shitty time keepers as well. I've been spoiled with the swiss movements I guess. I have a seiko Metaquartz in my Dan Henry 1975, it keeps perfect time, and you'd never know it was a quartz unless you're in the know. Thanks, you did an excellent job with the watch btw. liked and subscribed. Maybe a little more lume shots.. @@WatcheswithGeorge

We tune all our movements in-house to achieve a minimum of 10 seconds a day in either direction. You'll likely receive something that keeps within 5 seconds a day in either direction. Any movement that doesn't meet our standards will be used for prototypes, demo / photography units, or fed to the dogs.
