Even though I've been doing car audio longer than you've been on youtube, I find that there's almost always some tip or trick I can learn from your videos. Thank you for doing what you do. It brings the industry as a whole to a higher level. Sidenote: Your personality reminds me a little of Peter from PS Sound. Very down to earth, very knowledgeable, and very teachable. I'd love to see a collab with you two, though that might be me being a fanboy of you both

Beautiful work as always Mark! Of course we'd love to see and hear an audio test. However, perhaps it's time to invest in a good large diaphragm recording microphone that can give us at least an idea of sound rather than total distortion from simple camera area mics?

Another great build with the step by step video. Very crisp on all the corners and turns. This is good for inspiring more to get into this. Helpful to have a follow up also Mark as it verifies the build with a sound check.

Can you do a video on trunk side panel fiberglass boxes? Almost all of them are the same with a moulded back, fleece stretched over a ring, and body filler to blend the side gaps to the sides. Noone does beautiful front beauty board panels that you're realy good at to make them look factory. You did the jeep one, but that's a little too simple.

Does the 10" come with spring loaded terminals or is that an upgrade? My 12TW3 has regular old blades on it. It's nice to see someone putting pride in every aspect of the build,even what can't be seen. p.s. Your router setup is the cats pajamas ! I did high end 12v Audio back in the late 80's til 2002, just got burned out and took another path. I still Hobby Build from time to time. Keep up the great work !

Yeah, JL changed to push terminals. I bought a used 10TW3 and it had the old terminals.

I think the wood grain pieces is probably glued on but the vinyl piece is press fit into place

Vinyl is a raw material much like wood. You buy it from a local supplier and there are a million varieties to work with.

@@CarAudioFabrication Hi Mark, I have built my first subwoofer box. Well cut all the panels for it. My vinyl we be here today but I wanted to know what is the best way to wrap it. This is a 4th order for 3 Focal 10s. I wanted to use Black to wrap the sides bottom and top. The front and rear in white. Also I want to do the inside in white because I have 2 plexiglass windows, one in front and back. Should I wrap the white pieces first before assembly and then black after its built? Thanks for any advise.
