Through Je Suis Malade, Tout, You're Not From Here, Je T'aime, this live performance at concert Pure just blew me away. I hope you enjoy it.

Don't listen to the naysayers! You are NOT too emotional. Lara Fabian makes me cry with every stirring live performance. Every time. She touches someplace deep inside of me and I break. Literally every time - no matter how many times I watch. So I understand completely why you gush over her and want her to hear your praise. She deserves every compliment. Thank you for this reaction!! Glenda

Hey. Barbra Straisand herself was in the audience watching her. Can u imagine that? A very special moment for Lara, surely, Lara was excepcionally emotional at that concert, because her parents were there as well, they were celebrating their 30th marriage aniversary. Ps: In the end Lara held a D5 in chest voice for 17 seconds, but she already held this note over 19 seconds in other concerts. Thank you for your reaction. Hugs from Brazil.

Barbara Streisand herself gave her blessing for her to go ahead and sing that song. They meet at a restaurant and told her she was the only one that could nailed it. And being from Quebec, I saw a interview of her when somebody ask ,what she thinks of all the reaction video of her on KZfaq. She said that she looks at a lot of them and that she is so happy that her performances on it brings joy to you guys. She is such a lovely person in person. She is now the director of music on the Voice Quebec. She probably looks at your reaction...

Her ability to convey and evoke emotion is unsurpassed. She brings the tears to me all the time, in the way a beautiful sunset would. She is a force of nature, a true artist. Her performances are so honest. Having watched many of her interviews, getting to somewhat know the kind of person she is, I think lends some insight into why she connects so deeply with her audience. She's so humble, so grounded, so sweet, it comes through when she's on stage. She has no airs about her, her ego is totally in check. She certainly doesn't display any diva-like behavior. I've heard her say that all of her awards are stored away in boxes. It's just so easy to fall in love with her, not in the romantic sense, but love her as a good human being. May she continue to reign, Queen Lara!

Watch how long it takes her to stand back up, 16 seconds. I love how she then just stays in the emotional moment she created and lets the wave of love and appreciation just wash over her. For a moment it made me think of Sally Field. "You like me! You really like me!" Yes, Lara, we love you!

@@tnae Same. Obviously nothing on that scale. But the big difference between me and her, which she helped me figure out, is I have a fear of people that is equal to or more than my comfort with them. It is not conducive to being a performer who is at ease with fans like she is. But onstage, yes, it feels pretty damn amazing, especially when, as you said, you know you were on and nailed it.

Lara is truly one of a kind. Everything she sings, she FEELS it, deeply inside of herself in her very soul. It's personal for her. It doesn't even matter if the song she's singing isn't one she wrote herself, because she relates to it in such a strong way and truly makes it her own. It BECOMES her song. Like you said, how does she get there? How does she dive so deeply into the words and the melody, and just BECOMES the song? She finds some place deep within that I've never seen another performer do, or at least not share with anybody. She's so brave for doing so. Lara's voice control is so absolutely brilliant that she doesn't even need to focus on it very much. She doesn't sing; she TELLS and she FEELS, and she allows us to take that journey with her. That is what makes her so special to me. She's one of the best (if not the best) singers/vocalists I've ever heard, of course, but it's that alongside the emotion. She just puts it all out there and it's incredible. She makes me cry every time. She's wonderful. A truly unique, genuine performer. Thank you so much for your reaction and for sharing your thoughts and emotions with us!

As I've said on Patreon, you did an awesome job! ANYONE, who can't muster even a single tear should check him/herself by their GP, because something is wrong there. I've seen this performance countless times and I still have tears in my eyes every single time. Lara has that effect on many people for 30+ years now. Her rendition of 'Yentl' is the best by far from anyone I've ever seen and that includes Babs herself. There are no adequate words to describe how incredible Lara's performance is. It's absolute perfection in technique, in musical arrangement and in performance. I've said it before and I'll say it again until my dying day, that Lara has no equal. She is like a fairy creature, coming from beyond this world to enchant us, mere humans.

I’m lying here in my (sick) bed, bingeing on Lara reactions… but I’ve become addicted to this one performance, and there aren’t enough reactions to it to sate my need for catharsis. You are the ONLY one whose reaction included what MY reaction is - an overwhelming need to CRY. I can’t count how many times I’ve watched this performance. But some days, it gets me - I feel it welling up as she builds to that ending and - today, for instance - I just start SOBBING. She. Is. So. Fucking. Great. And the tears just keep coming. Watching her take in that ovation - what I wouldn’t give to have been there. What I wouldn’t give to have a voice like that… but never mind. It’s her ACTING the songs the way she does that puts her onto Mount Olympus. Her voice and control, her timbre, her training… they’re all phenomenal… But it’s that PASSION that puts her up there with Zeus and his buddies. She IS A GODDESS. Sorry, I’m rambling now. Going to watch it a few dozen more times till I can get to the end without breaking down in tears of joy and wonder. How long will that take, do you think? A year, maybe ten…🤗

Hey, Lara once said that she decided not to be anymore in the USA music industry, she released 2 albuns in English, she sang in many TV shows in the USA, she also performed in the same event with Michael Jackson, Beyoncé, Whitney Houston, Madonna in the USA, there's vídeos of her singing live at the MISS USA in 2000, she sang live at the Good Morning America. But the manager and music pruducers from the USA wanted to transform her in a new Celine Dion in the USA, performing among dancers, huge screens in the concerts, concerts everyday like a machine and SHE HAD TO BE SKINNY, she said that they told her that she would need to loss weight to be famous and gorgeous in The USA industry. Then she decided to live the USA and came back to Canadá and France. The USA industry don't deserve her. 😑😉

Anyway ! J'me suis senti assez idiot. J'en reviens juste pas de l'immensité de talent, de détermination et d'intelligence que cette femme possède. Par surcroît, elle a un cœur en or (assez rare chez les artistes de son calibre). Bref ! Content d'avoir lu ton partage... Je me sent un peu moins seul.

You're absolutely correct & I couldn't agree with you more. I've been a singer & musician for over 20yrs & I can honestly say that Lara Fabian is by far the best all round vocalist that I've encountered; technically amazing across genres, her musicality & ability to emote is wonderful, acting ability & her way of conveying lyricism through word painting & use of differing colours, tones & stylistic choices. She's so good that she almost becomes the song, transporting her audience into the story & meaning. I admire her immensely. It's very gratifying to hear your professional opinion. I

This is one of her best performance, a masterclass, a masterpiece. 8 minutes of technique, breath control, dynamic, interpretation, passion, perfect pitch and resonance. And her belting.... Pffffffffff.. And the way she change register.. You can't even notice it.. The way she goes around with her perfect diction in more than 8 languages, coloring at the perfect time all vowel, her soffiato.. They way she moves her mouth and lips, to create her resonance.. Uff😢😢😢😢 How funny is that people is still making reactions and comparing her with others (Celine dion, floor Jansen.. Morissette.. Oh please!!!!! Good vocalizer, good singers but please!!!! Lara is another level) I only agree that Dimash is a idol and I love him , but he is a man, different vocal range and chest constitution.. And actually Dimash loves Lara a lot and did take inspiration from her.. The passion he puts and his breath control in keeping long acute notes while belting, it's something that he said he did learn from her. I have seen reactions from some vocal couch that stopped to talk about her, probably for jealousy or because they don't want to admit that she is the best and that's all. (Tara, lol.. She is burning inside I guess) But I do understand they have to sell their video and follow what actual fashion deliver .. David Foster (that worked with a lot of other female singers) said that Lara is the best female voice he has never heard and Igor Krutoy, one of the best composer of our time, choosed Lara as his muse ( and Dimash of course) So, or Foster and Krutoy are two fools, or they know exactly how to recognize a full talent. Barbra Streisand, Lara Fabián . They are something else.. Pure artist.. Full complete package. Barbra Streisand herself, when she did that medley live, she did never sing both songs together as Lara did ( papà can you hear me and piece of sky on sequence ) . And that night in Montreal at the concert, Lara's parents were attending and Lara was so emotional . Barbra said of Lara, that she is "Broadway alive" This medley it's soooo difficult to perform live, and Lara just nailed it. Barbra said that nobody is capable to do it as Lara, not even herself. And Barbra asked to Lara to cover her "Broken Vow" She did never recorded it but performed at her concerts. And here in this video you can see how much Lara admires and loves Barbra Streisand. She always pointed her as her idol and inspiration.. If people keep taking inspiration from Celine dion or Morissette or floor Jansen.. I prefer to keep listening at pure art and perfection as Barbra and Lara. And for those that say that she is too dramatic and sad, well that's the difference between a singers and a full artist. Passion, storytelling, emotions, capacity of living the song and lyric. She is so camaleontic, she can do whatever she wants with her voice and body. And if you want to see a beautiful smiling dancing Queen, look at her performing "Humana" live concert in Paris 2006 " on regard 9" Look how she interacts and have fun with her audience, how people loves her and how she loves and respect them. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jq-Gp5xys6zXXWg.html

I can't stop watching her performances. I feel like I have to give props to this band behind her. Dear Brandon you need no apology for your human reaction to Lara Fabian's superhuman talents. It is enough just to have the privilege of being able to enjoy her rare and unique gifts. I'm going. to get over my past criticism of Celine's treatment of Lara because Lara would move on. Aside from her absolutely magnificent vocal abilities , her humility and warmth are reflected by her loyal and adoring fans. Her interaction with her audience and fans display a sincere mutual affection. Her intelligence is further illustrated by the fact Lara speaks 4 languages, French Italian English Spanish and sings in many more. It is truly heartwarming to see Lara give back and mentor young aspiring singers. Her ability to be humble and self deprecating show that she is not "full of herself" as so many other "divas" are. Vive Lara

I love how fearless she is. To take on such an iconic composition by such an iconic singer. Most have done it but under the protection of a studio. She did it live in front of thousands and killed it! If that wasn't enough in this same concert she took on Mariah's Vision Of Love and Whitney's I Will Always Love You and crushed them as well! Maybe she is Iconic too. I say yes. She is!
