The weight shift is the one thing holding me back from completely transforming my game.. I’ve been golfing for 9 months and I shoot low 90s and have broken 90 twice, this video is something I’ll take to the range and work on

Professional golfers from the 70’s learned how to shift weight with your Mom at the disco. That is how Gary got the last name Player and became a champion. We could all do more of this to become pure ball strikers.

What really gets me with Grant's swing is just how light and nimble he is during it. It doesn't even look like the club weighs anything or his body is exerting effort anywhere in particular. Just such a thing of beauty.

I always worry about watching instruction films because they can really set you back if you're not careful. This video was simple and helpful. Thx

The problem is when you say weight shift, people move back laterally and then forward laterally instead of turning.

Been playing for 8 months and I consistently break 90 on a solid day. This has been my struggle. My arms are almost behind my body as I turn my hips so fast and early. I end up getting disconnected and my missing are thin shots that ruin holes. And I lock out my from leg to early leading me to almost swing up or have a bad spine angle at impact

Eric, are you somewhat backing off the stack and tilt system? Or would you still prefer stack and tilt as your primary teaching focus? Because weight shift certainly goes against stack and tilt philosophy.

I swear with yesterday's videos and todays, it's as if you've been watching my swing! These are 2 things I struggle with. When I do get a good weight shift & keep my arms relaxed, I get WAY better compression & distance. Would love some drills to go with this, but this is a great swing thought. Keep up the great content!!

Been learning this in my lessons too. I’m an arms guy and the hip bump allows me to initiate my swing and start the drop of my arms so they’re not over the top. It’s a new feeling but has been a real good change

Love this series so far! When people say to "compress the ball", it almost seems like rotating your hips past the ball placement is key. That rotation is what I struggle with the most and it seems like I thin a lot of shots. This is a great drill, thank you.

What a GREAT follow up to your previous video with the weight shift forward along the toe line. You and Grant do a terrific job together in these sessions. I learn more from you Eric than you can imagine and has got me back to being the ball striker I used to be. Many, many thanks. Stay safe-Russ

I've been watching you for a while now and I have to say that you've gotten so much better over the years of really giving your audience one or two specific things to focus on, such as during the backswing you should feel your tush moving towards the target not away from it. We all know that if you give people too many swing thoughts it turns into a hot mess real quick.
