One thing that Randy does really well that should be emphasized more in tennis forehand videos is that he swings on an inside-out path. This means that he swings out to the side BEFORE he swings forward to contact with the ball. I have identified this as one of my big issues with proper spacing and contact point. I was not swinging OUT before swinging forward and I was really cramped. Now that I swing to the side before swinging forward I have much better spacing and don't get so jammed. You should make a video on that concept (if you haven't already)!

Many thanks from the U.K. for taking time to produce this content. The best instructional channel, I have unsubscribed from my other tennis channels. Wish you had appeared in my feeds some time ago. No ego, no contradictions and simple instructions. Perfect for me

After watching a bunch of other tennis channels, I feel the same way. This one is in a class of its own IMO.

Really helpful instruction John. I especially liked your comment about your right (hitting arm) going along for the ride, really making the point that the power and control comes from core rotation and timing. Excellent!

Great keepoints for the modern forhand. To points I as a coach in Denmark is the spacing with the nondominant arm are not there, and students as you points out don"t do the finish work but falls to the side and over rotates. They alsol et there left leg fallow the swing to early, resulting to ower rotation as well. Anyway super great how to do the most difficult stroke done properly . HYow do you feel about the next gen . forhand. I think it"s only for a few pros to do.

Thanks Olaf for your comments and contribution to the video. I am actually doing a video on the Next Gen forehand, featuring Sinner and perhaps the original New Gen forehand of Jack Sock. Stay tuned, as that will release this coming week. Thanks John
