Ouu Disney no lol this mv and also their dance is inspired by the horror movie Us. In this mv the girls have doppelgängers who eventually overtake their lives. The lyrics are also super creepy and have yandere(stalker) vibes about how they feel about their ‘lover’. Overall an amazing concept and I loved your reaction🥰🥰. The music video is inspired from the movie "Us" where doppelgangers kill the original, and replace them in the real world... The doppelgangers live in the underworld, where in the mv it's represented with the hotel lobby and the underground tunnel(where gahyeon was on her throne).. The real world is represented with the carnival setting

Well, well, well. Hi there! Dreamcatcher are outdoing themselves here once again. Musically, the song is a fantastic journey. There actually are "cute" parts, but there also are parts where the guitars go full metal. The variations in BEcause remind me of their previous masterpiece, Deja Vu. The bridge with SuA's slow rap and Yoohyeon's adlibs is possibly the most beautiful one they have ever done. About the meaning: According to Dami, BEcause is about love becoming obsession. And also, this is a stand-alone story. They go back to their horror roots, which I really enjoy. One commenter noted that if you look at "BE" as a written Chinese character "悲“, that would mean "sadness". So the song title would mean "The Cause of Sadness". And that would make the lyric "because I like you" to maybe mean "the cause of sadness is I like you". That commenter is Jad Hamizan and he deserves all the credit for noticing that. The video picks up on that. JiU seems to be the puppet master here (or her doppelganger!). She is the one trapping the other members and turning them into puppets, but Gahyeon tries to escape (as you can see by her throwing off the cage right in the beginning). It seems JiU catches her again though, "because she likes her". And I didn't even include the references to the movie "Us" yet, there is so much going on. The lyrics are even creepier. SuA sings: "Your expression is blue, blue. Your face is like ocean view.", hinting at strangulation due to the one being obsessed taking things way, way too far. Dreamcatcher are clearly not afraid to tackle the difficult subjects, and they do it masterfully here - again. For me, this is more than just pop, it is art.

Actually this mv is inspired by american horror movie which is Us. If you did notice every scenes especially the chorus there are always 2 version of all of them which that explains the doppelgängers and the original ones! If you didn't notice they've been replaced by the doppelgängers at the end of the mv, if you notice the clothes that they are wearing is different from what they are wearing from the very beginning of the mv. at the end of the mv the original ones has been replaced by the doppelgängers.

im not so sure about the storyline yet but it has something to do with dolls, jiu (the black hair one) is probably turning the other members into dolls and the song has to do with obsessive love so maybe she turns them into dolls bc she really likes them and wants to keep them forever wjth her? maybe, thats my interpretation. Ive seen people say it has to do with the horror movie “Us” and the girls are the shadows that took over their real selves bc they wanted to go out in the world instead of living in the underworld or something

Also, I haven't seen this mentioned before, but Siyeon was NOT a dancer before she got on the idol path. In fact, when they told her she would have to do intricate choreo, she said something along the lines of, "But I'm a singer!" and girlie is always killing it

Really really hope you react to the dance video or a live performance of this because they have a ton of incredible choreo that didn't make it into the MV! You should also definitely check out their songs Scream, Red Sun, and Black or White to get a true feel for their range as artists, and they all have really stunning dances as well-Black or White in particular is pretty different from their usual stuff and very Michael-Jackson influenced, and Red Sun was choreographed by the member Sua!

And red hair of Gahyeon and the chest board probably with some influenced by Alice In The Wonderland as well. And majority of the audiences said it is inspired by 'Us' a movie from U.S.A.? And there is the popular famous classical piano piece 'Für Elise' main theme melody too, suspecting the composer is inspired by the biography of Ludwig van Beethoven, which was a throwing tantarum very hot-tempered German composer who chopped all his grand piano legs, and a very contradicting person... and his works only to get famous after his death...
