I got the exact Summer vibes with this perfume. It's super juicy but not overly sweet. To my nose, it is quite fresh, clean and vibrant best suited to Summer and Spring. When I tried it many years ago in Winter, I thought it was quite bland and yet in Summer it does indeed bloom! Maybe it's the "green" note mentioned in the scent pyramid that gives it is minty freshness in the heat.

I live in a tropical country. Summer, humid all year long, and I totally agree with you.. This beauty BLOOM in heat. It bloom beautifully without being clawy. I love this perfume, it is 1 of mu successful blind buy.

Half of my perfume collection has patchouli as a scent note so I may check this one out. Never picked up a bottle but I may have to now after your lovely description.

Hi Love Midnight! I happen to love patchouli, so this one works well for me. Kind of wish it was closer to being the sillage monster that others describe...stays very close to my skin. Thanks for commenting!

I agree about Jimmy Choo! Other perfumes that bloom in high heat summer (above 90F) are Chanel Gabrielle EDP and D&G pour femme intense. The tuberose becomes bubble gummy and delicious.

LOVED this review. Smelled this a couple weeks ago on a girl and I was in love! Mine is now on it's way to me. Still curious to know why all other flankers aren't as good if they have the same contents according to JC customer service? I'm about to order another flanker of the original out of this review only LOL Oh goodness you're awesome!

Answer: They lie. The edt is pretty but is extremely short lived.

Hi Seline Mendoza! La Vie est Belle and Jimmy Choo are very different from each other in my opinion, even though they are both sweet and both have patchouli. Individual chemistry matters, too, so check them both out if you have a chance. Honestly, I like both!

I feel Jimmy Choo is more versatile and La viest Belle is sweeter and more appropriate for cold weather if that helps:)

I don’t care for la vie est belle AT ALL… I worked within a Macys when it came out and everyone was wearing it 🤦🏽‍♀️ But the Jimmy Choo is spicy sweet and clean all at the same time It’s soooooo good
