About orchids: Back in the day, an orchid enthusiast told me that about 25% of the 200 species he has are fragrant. Some of them only smell at night, some during the day, some only when the sun shines, etc. Their smell varies a lot in intensity, from very strong to very subtle, and some even smell like death and decay. I find that fascinating!

I love this scent! I have the EDP. Honestly, to me it smells like perfumy raspberries. It smelled more complex at first but after wearing it several times that's all I smell, but nevertheless I love it. I've briefly smelled the exotic one and it smelled almost exactly the same to me, though I didn't get the opportunity to spray it on my skin.

+SlimjadeyMeme Ahhh I would say more perfumery pears. With a bit of toffee. I really liked it for a while and then I got totally sick of it. I gave almost a full bottle away. :(

Omg lol I was gonna buy euphoria online today. But it was sold out quickly before I could make up my mind cuz I kept thinking so many people seem to have it according to hundreds of reviews. I've only once smelled the cap of a bottle of it and loved the powdery woodiness of it. So I started looking at the other perfumes on the website which weren't many really. I decided on this one (Jimmy choo) without knowing or even hoping it might smell like ck euphoria! And now I'm watching this and you suddenly said it has the woodiness of euphoria and wow I think I'll love this then. I'll let you know when I get it on Wednesday. But I'm happy 😊

This one is much sweeter though, it has toffee in it so it's kinda heavy and woody at the same time. Euphoria feels a lot sharper. Both are great though just not super similar.

Hi Ouch110, thanks for the review. I want to mention only that orchids in the wild do have a fragrance and it can be diversed one depending on which type of orchid do you smell. Some of them smell like fruits, lemony or citrusy, others like vanilla, others have notes of cloves. Some have strange heavy fragrances. The orchids that you can buy in a regular shop thought don't have any fragrance because they are crossed and hybradized so they kind of lost it.

Elvira Dupcheva My dad once was raising orchids and had one that had scent. When it blossomed, it filled the whole house. It was so beautiful.

@@marcilk7534 Hi, indeed some of them are quite fragrant. I adore them. Personally own a collection of 80 orchids. So I smelled a lot of them. Interesting family of plants. 💗 That is the reason to have 3 perfumes with orchid notes.

Hello Jimmy Choo...great fragrance I ve just got one sample couple of years ago and still , still love it and remember Hope will get a bottle very soon but we have some troubles with shipping to Bosnia.. Otherwise in local perfume shops is to much expensive And...you doing great rewievs,

Orchids do scents. Some smell like chocolate, coconut, there are many different scents depending on the species of orchid. And there's some that don't have a smell.

Euphoria has been my signature scent for years. I also love Jimmy Choo. I do think they're quite similar

There is definitely a similarity in the woody aspect of them where Jimmy Choo is gourmand and Euphoria is more erm..sophisticated dare I say? haha. I like em both too but Euphoria is probably my fave Calvin Klein fragrance ever released!

ouch110 Fragrance Reviews oh for sure! Euphoria is amazing. I don't know any other CK perfume that is better. I only have a few of them. Obsession no. Beautiful no. Eternity no. I think those are the only other ones I've tried so far, but definitely nowhere near as beautiful as euphoria. 💜

I have an EDT version. Love love love the bottle and the scent. Wonder if the EDP lasts longer than the EDT. I’m too scared to go to the mall and try scents, because of corona of course! 🙃could you please let me know if the EDP smells the same as EDT and lasts longer. Thank You 🙏

Thanks for all of your great reviews! I love Jimmy Choo and I have a whole bottle. I keep trying to wear it but unfortunately it always gives me a headache. You mentioned something in one of your other reviews about ambroxan being a synthetic ingredient that holds everything together and makes the perfume project. Do you know if Jimmy Choo has ambroxan and if so are many people are allergic to it? And is ambroxan that powerful “note” that seems to smell like nothing we have ever smelled before?

I bought this not long ago, and i really like it; its a little feminine, a little edgy..its nice. And strong, wowza that projection 😂 But i have to spray it far away from my face, i put it on my wrist, tummy and back of the neck. Or it overwhelms my nose and gives me a headache lol. And its quite affordable for the lasting power

Nice review, I just wanted to ask you, my wife really enjoys Euphoria, so therefore do you think my wife will like this Jimmy Choo fragrance? Are they similar in that way, that if you like one, you should like the other? Cheers.

Malcolm Lang I would say most probably yes. Although this is MUCH sweeter and has a toffee note so if she's not into sweet things it could be a bit risky. Maybe spray some on a card and let her smell it? :)

I think it's an alpha perfume. Like Marc Jacobs Decadence ... Yes has a masculine note like euphoria

Just try both on skin. :) La Vie Est belle is much sweeter and more vanilla, and jimmy is more toffee and wood. :)

They smell different, but there's something about the tonality of Jimmy Choo that reminds me of Euphoria. It's like they're distant cousins haha.

Nice review, I smelt it recently, want it on My wife! Very very nice. My fav on her is Womanity! Do you know of something like Womanity but more masculine . I am not sure I could pull it off

Thank you! There isn't really anything that I've smelled that's like womanity. I say..if you like it? Just wear it! Why not? Anyone can pull off anything if they do it with confidence. Just start out light that's what I do. Maybe one spray under the shirt and then go from there. Womanity is an unusual one and not necessarily feminine to my nose anyway. GO FOR IT!
