Hey bud. I realize these don't have many comments / views etc, but let me tell you. Your videos on the 7.3 and now this, are incredibly helpful. Please keep up the good work, and know they are very very quality due to the fact you show all steps. Thanks again!

My back you locked up on trying a cold start. Sounded like a giant spring sprung. What does a rebuild cost on average?

+John Bourlier The good ole select o speed Transmission About 10 years ago I went through one in a 74 4000 if I remember correctly. One thing I won't forget is it was a difficult transmission to work on and the parts were expensive.

Hey grease I've been watching you videos for a while now you're a really good mechanic. I have a John Deere 6410 that giving me some trouble. The three point hitch won't move up or down with the controls but all the fuses are good. Any suggestions? Thanks
@westerntruckandtractorrepa13537 жыл бұрын
+Zameer Akaloo Do you know where the hitch stepper motor is? Right on top of the scv valve stack is the stepper motor, there is a little flat bladed screw head in the top center, push down and turn clockwise and see if hitch raises, or if hitch is down push down and turn ccw. This will tell you stepper motor and hitch hydraulics are working .

grease monkey101 I've done that the motor and hydraulics are working fine but I'm thinking it's an electrical problem or the controller is bad not sure I think I need an electrician to check it but I did disconnect the draft sensor about a week ago because it wasn't going right down so i ordered one at the dealer I'm still waiting on it

Zameer Akaloo Have you pulled off the hitch position sensor ? The hitch position sensor runs off of a plastic segment gear inside the rockshaft, make sure it isn't broke, and if that is fine check the hitch relay, then more than likely the hitch controller may be bad.

+Zameer Akaloo Cool, I have been in the Caribbean before but it was on a submarine. Didn't get to see anything.
