to give a little more perspective the SR-71 is the only plane that flew higher then the Perlan, reaching 85K feet, but no subsonic airplane including the U2 flew higher then the Perlan, the U2's record is 73,737 ft (22,475 m), the Perlan's one is 76,124 ft (23,203 m), almost a Km more. At those extreme altitudes the real problem is that the window between the stall speed, when a plane is too slow so can not sustain the flight and looses control, and the NE speed, the one where it goes too fast and wing flutter happens so the structural integrity is compromised, is really narrow, a little slower and the plane falls, a little faster and it falls apart, this is true both for planes with engines and for gliders, the planes have to be designed for the purpose of flying at those altitudes and it is extremely difficult and risky to push them to their limit.

@Wroger Wroger You missed the point of these comments. It’s not that you can’t do a web search for the information, it’s that the information is missing from this video. Why wasn’t it at least included in the video information? Also, if you search the internet you will find that this plane has made numerous record flights, so a legitimate question is, what record was broken in this video? What was the altitude?
