In this video Olly fully treats his rear arches on the ep3 type r and colour matched them making them look so much better!

As has been sad it was a great time to roll the arches. I did mine when I undersealed the arches and it gives more clearance.

Nothing permanent on EP3. until next year. Since you already done undersell this should make a difference though. Looks nice and tidy in there. Recently checked behind rear speaker on mine and a lot of rust along inside of sills so worth a look at this age. Would recommend a good rust converter before applying zinc primer/ topcoat . Personally just put rust converter as it’s not exposed to outside but must get damp somehow . Brushed on aqua steel . Jenolite do an aerosol but found it easier to brush. Maybe do both to get bits you can’t reach. Could wire brush then hoover out loose rust personally just applied aqua steel and left for 24 hrs to convert it. Worth a look at this age as if they weaken then jacking point crumbles. Next video idea !!

I never had any deep rust on the arches or anywhere so would of been no point using a proper treater, I had already taken the arches back to bare metal and primered it previously so I’m happy with how they are!😊

Modified Weekly was talking about behind rear speaker if you remove them and look down at inside of sills there will be rust there..

Sounds like if you have rust there then you must have a water leak that needs seeing to asap mate

Out of isopan zinc 182 or simoniz zinc primer what primer would you recommend over rust

Iso is always better there's a reason it's like twice the price

Hey man do u still have the standard oem pedals or have u thought about aftermarket/DC5 pedals ? I got quoted around £60 for the set for my EP but would love a video of installing before I attempted it haha!

They are easy to do i run them in my ep Clutch and brake is 3 holes then rivet em on there they are oem fitment

How many cans did you need per side?

I used 1 can of each per side, so 2 primer, 2 base and 2 clear!, I ran out after the first arch hence why one was already done😂

Tbh m8 it also was a good time to roll or hamer the arches since u needed to paint then anyway
