I have used this stuff on oil tanks with tiny holes. It’s very watery if you just spray it on , so you will make a big mess. I spayed some into a container and kept stirring it until it had somewhat thickened. Then I applied to the leak with a brush.

Also let the leak cool off a bit. Then apply!

Just sprayed it on a pin hole leak on my heater core copper line where it attaches to the hose at the firewall. Wish me luck. Do not want to change the heater core. I suppose I could solder the hole. Is in the brass pipe.

going to try it on my bmw, to slow an oil leak on the oil pan, cross member is on the way to access my oil pan, so this would be the best solution..... did you say, ensure car is at operating temperature? then apply sealant 3-5x and then let it set for 45min? if it slows it down great if it stops my leak, it’s a win

Glenn Chow Hello, i ended up replacing my front seal, but it did slow another leak associated with it. Get the car up to temp, then spray, wait a couple of minutes before coats. Then let dry at least 45 min or so before using the car. Good Luck.

Depending where the over spray goes I may just leave it as rust protection.

Hi. Good job. Did you clean the area with 140 deg water with degreaser. With brush and rag scrub out. Then alcohol or brake cleaner. To remove all grime. And oil. Then apply the product? Don't be lazy. Bill

Hello, its a good question. When this stuff sets its pretty solid. So I would think that as long as you let it completely set it may work. If it stops stuff from coming out, why not from going in.

drexellake if The Vacuum leak is big with a big hole it won't work but if the Hole is Small it Will work for Big Leaks I Recommend Silicone Sealent Tape just Stretch it and Apply it Tight on the Area or Hose and Electric Cables it is Heat resistant

It's worth a shot! But depending on the motor, it may just be easier to change the gaskets and use some permatex indian sealer with them.

You didnt use it correctly I use it all the time with no failures, Tips what ur spraying needs to be clean very very clean, shake the can 3 times for a minute each put can in hot water get the contents hot then shake again make sure what your spraying is clean and spray short light coats min of 5 times leave sit 12 hours in 70 degree min temps
