Haha Ja hul is seker naaste wat ek aan 1 sal kom hier. Hul is baie moeilik om tevang veral as die water so skoon en plat is.

Top stuff.. What bait did you get it on if you don't mind me asking? The permit are very similar to the pompano we get here in South Africa they are beasts when they get over 5kgs.. They put up a good fight but the best part is when they come to the side and see the sand they take off and it keeps fighting and holding water till the end.. I'm not sure if you get see lice and sand prawn there but crab and mussels or prawn work well for them also sometimes they even take a sardine fillet on straight drift just hook and a swivel

Thanks Zubair. Thanks for the advice. I'll definitely try ghost crabs, there are plenty of them here. I got it on prawn. I have seen photos of the pompano that the guys get in SA. Will have to go target them when I'm there. They are definitely solid fighters. They fight simular to Streenbras that like to do that big run when they reach the shore.
