I live in Louisiana and even though my family is from Guatemala I wanted to try Dominican food since watching these two on pero like. They are so proud of their heritage and you can see the excitement every time they eat. This past year they opened a Dominican restaurant called Mangu close to where I live. I really thought it was great. I recommend them to others because I want there place to thrive. It’s not often that you get something so different yet similar too. They stand out for being different.

There is only one Dominican resturant in Utah. We recently just got a Cuban, Jamaican and Puerto Rican food trucks in Salt Lake.

Just an FYI in case anyone in Utah was looking for Caribbean food. El Tropical is the Dominican Resturant in Utah. It is located in Provo City I believe. Papito Moe's is the Puerto Rican food truck in Salt Lake. Havana Eats is the Cuban food truck in Salt Lake Jamaica Kitchen is the, well you know. It's in Salt Lake.

Mariposaoro Fusion food Channel We have a ton of taquerias and pupuserias here. We have a lot of Peruvian, Brazilian restaurants and such as well. Polynesian and African restaurants as well. But when it came to food from Caribbean, this state is just getting those. Although for awhile and in most places, the majority is still white Mormons. But Utah is becoming more and more diverse. Especially in Salt Lake City. So it is such a blessing to see people from all over here in the state and even better when they bring the taste of their homeland here.

That’s because there aren’t many Dominicans in Cali (like in NYC for example). However, as a Cali transplant to NYC, I have learned *so much* about Dominican culture from this channel! ¡Gracias! I’m glad you got a lil taste of home! Everyone needs that warm, cozy, make-ya-dance food experience! 💃🏾

Yani Baez Imagine living in Lawrence. Every corner store is also a restaurant, plus the regular restaurants, the trucks and nightclub/bar restaurants. Literally can't throw a rock without hitting a Dominican food spot. Low key annoyed af though with white people calling it "Spanish food."
