ISFAHAN, IRAN - Isfahan is a special city in Iran, one of the most powerful and one of the most influential cities throughout Persian history - that’s why they call it half the world. I was excited to visit Isfahan, and go on an ultimate Iraninan food tour! #Isfahan #Iran #IranianFood
Azadegan Tea House - Chah Haj Mirza - We began in the evening in Isfahan by going to a legendary tea house, and probably one of the world’s most decorated tea houses. It’s fascinating to walk around, look at all the antiques and memorabilia. The food, is also noteworthy and delicious. We had the Kashke Bademjan - Persian eggplant dip, and Dizi - Lamb and chickpeas stew.
Khoresht Mast - Yogurt, lamb, saffron - This was the most shocking Iranian food in Isfahan - lamb and sweet yogurt? Yes, in Isfahan, people are passionate about a dessert made with lamb! And somehow it just works.
Naqsh-e Jahan Square - Isfahan, Iran - When you visit Isfahan, to get a true feel of the center of the city, you have to visit Naqsh-e Jahan Square, a massive public square with a number of important historical mosques and monuments. It’s spectacular.
Haj Mahmoud Beryani - Restaurant, Isfahan Bazaar - This was one of my favorite meals in all of Iran, for a dish called beryan - Minced lamb, mint, saffron. For lamb lovers, it does not get better than this.
Gaz - Persian Nougat - Next we visited a gaz factory, a Persian sweet that’s famously made in Isfahan. It was interesting to see the process, and taste it too.
Hafez Golha - Milk pudding - Next we stopped at Hafez Golha for his hand made milk pudding. It’s simple and delicious and a great dessert for an evening in Isfahan, Iran.
Khaju Bridge - Historical Bridge - And finally we ended this incredible Iranian food tour and attractions tour at Khaju Bridge where locals gather to sing songs under the historical bridges.
Isfahan is a fascinating city, with such a rich culture, history, and unique delicious food. Thank you for watching.
Thank you to Ghasr Setareh ( / ghasr_setareh ) for arranging our trip to Iran.

Give you some Iranian tips: squeeze some lemon juice or sour orange juice on onion slices and add some Somac on it, the lemon juice will do the job alone if you have no somac around. onions and herbs is everything alongside Iranian food.

hey, Persia known as Iran is one of the great places in earth. thousands of years art,culture,cuisine,... and these well made series from mark just a fraction of its true beauty. this is Isfahan and its called half of the world in old days. for great reasons! 🌺🕌 in this hard time of life lets bring what Sadi Shirazi Poet as "Bani Adam" : بنی‌آدم اعضای یکدیگرند که در آفرينش ز یک گوهرند چو عضوى به‌درد آورَد روزگار دگر عضوها را نمانَد قرار تو کز محنت دیگران بی‌غمی نشاید که نامت نهند آدمی The literal translation of the above is as follows: "Human beings are members of one another, since in their creation they are of one essence. When the conditions of the time brings a member (limb) to pain, the other members (limbs) will suffer from discomfort. You, who are indifferent to the misery of others, it is not fitting that they should call you a human being." banī ādam a'zā-ye yekdigar-and ke dar āfarīn-aš ze yek gowhar-and čo 'ozvī be dard āvarad rūzgār degar 'ozvhā-rā na-mānad qarār to k-az mehnat-ē dīgarān bīqam-ī na-šāyad ke nām-at nahand ādamī

Beni_m04: this comment has been taken out of context. I’m personally trying to state that Mark appreciates all cultures even if they are from a third world country(which Iran quite obviously isn’t). The last part of the comment(the “no matter how little they have to offer part)definitely applies the most to the Africa series he did . So based off of basic deduction, I’m trying to convey Mark’s gratitude and appreciation for cultures as a whole, not only in this video. If you want to argue semantics and nitpick at the different interpretations of my comment(per say your interpretation of my supposed snide comment on “how little Iran had to offer”) feel free to do so; but, just keep in mind I meant it as a comment on Mark’s gratitude overall.

?,?, in Iran you’re not aloud to film in public. I know it’s stupid and I hate it to (Islamic republic rules). Because of mr taster they can go and film where the food is. Did you noticed there is no street filming. Foreigner Going to try Iranian to try the food is not as same as what they’re doing. You need someone to show you what there is to eat. Otherwise you would eat burgers pizzas like everybody else.

We are very happy if you travel to our country to get acquainted with its beauties. Undoubtedly, you will spend extraordinary moments different with the negative news of the media. We are sorry that our government is not a good representative for the Iranian people Against the world. The Iranian people are against the obligatory hijab and the involvement of religion in politics, and this has harmed our country and culture. We hope to get rid of the sharia law And Iran should be returned to its people with freedom. Peace ⁦✌️⁩
