Amazing sequence. One of the many highlights of this show. Amy Acker was sublime as Root. …I miss Person of Interest

Still one of my favourite scenes in the whole show. - this and the first time John gets access.

Wow! This is an excellent fictional theatrical performance which serves as an excellent metaphor of the crazy hypocrisy of the iatrogenic standards of care of psychiatry.

Her WHOLE explanation about what the truth is, is just.. WOW‼️👏🏼 Loved it. And the fact that my boy could climb back on his high horse after "The Truth Appointment", and sit up there confidently without fear, still thinking he's in charge of her, is mind boggling ..amazing.

The music was fantastic. Amy is so underrated. And I wish the writers added “maybe I’m too old for you” cause he seems like a creep. This is also the hubris of some people, particularly psychiatrists sometimes.

Nathan told Harold 9/11 attack which was in 2001 and here Root is saying that machine was born in 2002, I am confused , but I am assuming that they created the machine in 2000! What is interesting is when Harold gives his wife Grace a book called Sense and Sensibility and I saw the Ted Lasso tv show which one of episode that Celly received the same book! Really interesting!

9/11 is what convinced Harold to build the Machine. Before that, he was happy as a tech billionaire.

The persona of Root as a child is what was typically thought of as a Tom-boy back then, and her concern for the beautiful young girl foreshadowed her attraction to beautiful, athletic, and fearless Shaw 4 seasons later. BRILLIANT! (Or 3 seasons later depending on who you talk to)

Rewatching this series and I never liked root but rewatching this series I can see how she’s important. I do think in the moments leading up to the samaritan episodes she may have been over used but I’m gonna see if I’m wrong that said. Phenomenal actress and comes off cute and Psycho. Not insane even though she acts like that
