It's part of the little touches they put into her answers and descriptions in comparison the the male character. Even in the drama CDs she's described as outwardly cheerful and in the recent Persona Q2 she's shown as being far more attached to her friends than the male character.

Am I the only one who dislikes female mc? Like...it's not that I have a problem with an different universe where a girl is mc but the thing that made me love p3 is that it's an rpg where the mc is distant and sort of a lonewolf...the female mc just makes it a high school action type... with no psychological elements that the mc had to go through as he face his traumas

@@ayouxy Dude relax you could've still picked the male MC in P3P. FeMC is sort of like a "fanservice" and a sort of "what if" the gender of the MC is changed, hence, more dialogues option, additional story when playing as her. But it's "optional", you can still play as Male MC.

Once my Akihiko got charmed and criticaled my Junpei to death then the same to my Yukari and he was about to kill me but it wore of and we survived

A similar thing happened to me when my Akihiko got charmed and he then proceeded not only to heal the emperor and the empress bosses (the rematch versions too to make things worse),but also buff them. Spent the following hour reviving my team and refiguring out the boss's weakness

Taking out everything would imply they cut the storyline itself. They downgraded assets yes, but the gameplay was left intact and the story was there but in Visual Novel form. Just so happens that US audiences seem to have this utter disdain toward the Visual Novel approach to story while Japan seems to not mind it (they have an entire sub-industry based around it).

Same here, but in my case, I started with Persona 4 and then played Persona 3 FES. One of the biggest improvements that 4 made was direct party commands. I mean, you can kind of give your party direction on what you want them to do in 3, but it's....unreliable, to say the least. If I had just one goddamn Yen for every time Mitsuru wasted her turn trying to unsuccessfully confuse enemies, I'd have more money than her. It's no wonder I always felt I had to be the white mage myself when playing Persona 3.

Am I really the *only* person who has *never* had trouble using Mitsuru? I just leave her on Full Assault all the time. I mean at worst, she refuses to Mind Charge before attacking. She usually does though.

b/c on full assualt no one uses support/buff/debuff/status effects, mind charge doesnt count in this mode, however mind charge is actually good

If all of the party members can't be directly commanded that could've been a thing to unlock on their social links. If they're closer to you they could have a higher chance of taking direct commands. It would make the social links more useful as well. Making you choose whose commands you rely on more. Maybe after Rank 10 you can just set them to direct commands. I know that sounds a bit tedious but having that be an unlockable thing makes your social links more noticeable I'd say.

I think having a status ailment character would have been really cool its just...they seemed to have made it nearly impossible to pull off without 'ailment boost' skills so all mitsuru does is waste sp during fights. :/

You know, it's odd. I don't have these issues with Mitsuru. I remember having her in my party the first time I battled NYX ever, and won on my first try.

This is why I have her set to "Attack Weaknesses" instead of "act freely". Chances are, she'll either get a critical, fail to get a critical, or do nothing, cutting down a good 65% of her bullshit.
