Out of everyone, Ryuji's reaction gets me the most. He's so upset, and his outburst conveys that feeling of helplessness so well. That's his _best friend_ who was already carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders, and who was now forced by circumstance to give up even more. Who is all alone now, with everything taken from him, even his future. And Ryuji just immediately feels so hurt and desperate and angry on his behalf. The friendship those two have is seriously so special.

I honestly prefer this ending over the Royal one. Don't get me wrong Royal is amazing as well but seeing everyone joining forces to release the Protagonist from prison is always amazing to me.

Bless that's totally understandable my friend. I think the impact of seeing your friends respond to Joker going to jail as well as him making that decision is powerful in the vanilla ending. I think Royal does a fantastic job with it's own themes reinforcing that decision but the decision itself isn't as impactful as it happens due to a time reset. If anything I think the Thieves decision to save Joker from Maruki was stronger in the third semester.

Bless you my friend, that's actually why I uploaded it. I'm don't really do long play through's but these games have so many moments that just stick with me I wanted to share them. And this ending it hits hard.

Aye what’s weird is that in Royals ending you don’t get Iwai’s line about begging the dude to protect him. For real this part really hits hard.

This is better than the royal one. I'm kind of really mad they took away one of Ann's best scenes and gave it to the others; it's not like she did too much throughout the story anyway and it was a good demonstration of her character: loyal to a fault.

this ending feels much more appealing compared to the P5 Royal ending, even though I do like the extra content in P5 Royal Sumire just feels like such a rushed character

It turns out I got this ending, and I saved right after I made the choice. So I have to go to a prior save that was when I was discovering shido's palace. I love this ending so much though

Am I correct in thinking that the montage of people appealing for Joker’s release in the true ending takes fewer days than the montage in the true ending? (Not including the extra month and 10 days extra that the public believed that Joker was locked up for)

Sorry for the late response bud! In answer your question, yes that definitely seems to be the case while it’s not outright stated in Royal, it is the thieves who kickstart the movement to get Joker released.

Play the game as you normally would without maxing out Maruki's social link. Unfortunately it means missing out on the 3rd Semester but I honestly really like this ending as well.

I think if you choose to forget Akechi’s promise the 3rd semester doesn’t unlock.

Wait i dont get it, in my playthrough theres no choice to turn myself in but when i watch the other video theres an ending where joker goes to testify himself and all of his friends helps him to get him out of the prison, how do i get that ending tho?

To get this ending bud you need to NOT max out Maruki’s social link which means not getting the 3rd Semester ending.

@@bagaskara_vi1572 No bud, this is P5’s original ending before Royal even introduced Maruki. The reason not completing his SL doesn’t give this ending is because it is how you unlock the 3rd semester.
