PERSONAL CORE VALUES: The Why, What and How

One of the keys to living a more intentional and fulfilling life is to know and honor your personal core values.
Values are about how you consciously choose to show up in relationships, at work, and in the way you navigate your inner landscape.
You commit to values daily and never reach a final destination. Your values are a lifelong practice.
In this video, I share the importance of honoring your core values and a step by step guide to identifying/setting your values.

This was awesome! I identified four core values: 1. kindness 2. growth 3. relationships 4. impact. I'm going to write these out and put them on my wall or my desk or somewhere else visible or all of the above! :)

Thank you for this informative talk. I have been struggling with identifying my top core values. You provided me with an a-ha moment when you said you can provide your own definition for the value.You do not have to go with dictionary definition. Peace - wonderful video - simple and straight forward. It mirrored my own journey in core values. The only thing i would add is that living by your core values is often a stern battle against self-centeredness which must be fought.

I haven’t actually written down my core values before but certain values I’ve internalised include: Excellence, although I’ve failed many times. I’ve also internalised a value that Nothing ever goes wrong under my watch. I really enjoy impact. Money has never been my goal, I wouldn’t know if this is weird. I indirectly learned Consistency from my mum and that’s my best value ever.
