Perspective can be a pain to learn, hopefully this video will teach you how to practice perspective and have more fun while you're doing it.

The one thing I didn't know about perspective was the fact you could have more than one perspective in one scene; I always thought there should be only one.

I think I have no problem coming up with poses in any angles just because of that thing with boxes and cilynders! This is very nice!

I kinda had an inkling but for some reason it didn't fully click in my head that even if using one point perspective, should an object simply be rotated differently, you add another point of perspective. I thought you laid out your perspectives at the beginning, before everything else, and it was set, everything would naturally work to that and follow those guidelines. It always confused me how restrictive point perspective felt and I didn't understand why everything had to align perfectly to 1 or 2 or 3 limited number when it often doesn't in real life. Things like cityscapes can feel all over the place sometimes, buildings and cars, dumpsters, etc. all rotated in different ways. Objects aren't always aligned facing the same direction, what to do when using one or two point perspective but encounter or want to add an object that's kinda doing its own thing to make a scene look natural? It always felt like the rules suddenly broke and I didn't understand how it worked at all, and lost confidence. The rules don't break, rather, the points of perspective you need to reference from just grows in that situation. Fucking epiphany. Oi! it's so simple I feel dumb. lol. Thanks so much, something this small will make a big difference for me. Haha.

Yeah, those hard rules are really just a starting point tell help explain the concepts from a teaching perspective. Once you got it, you sorta gotta go wild with it. But they are also helpful when you just can't figure out why something looks wrong, you can fall back on the rules to help figure out the problems.

Hello Walter. I would like to sell a complete copy of webtoon while maintaining the webtoon vertical aesthetic. I've tried saving the jpegs as pdf but the page separations ruin the final look despite being able to scroll (vertically). Anyways I was wondering if you have any solutions to this. And glad you are back

Yeah, that could be a little tricky. You'd have to see if you could find a design program (adobe indesign?) that would allow you to create a document/book design that was a single very long page. Then you could export that out and it wouldn't have any page breaks, because it was a single page. The other option would be to edit your jpgs taking into consideration all the page breaks you're seeing, so trim/add gutter space to make it space correctly when exported to PDF. That's just off the top of my head. I'll think about it some, if I come up with something clever, I'll let you know. If you try these ideas or figure something else out, let me know.

Well, can I ask you something? I don't know who to ask, please answer me, I use clip studio paint. I'm still using it within the six free months. I'm already drawing my story, which I want to release on webtoon. But I recently heard rumors that this version will end, and I don't know about a paid subscription they are talking about. I just want to buy the annual EX version as I used to use it. When my free months end, what should I do! can you help me! Will I be able to buy it normally 😭💔 plz Mr Walter help me I'm so afraid to lose everything 😔 tell me the best thing to do and I'll do it!

From what I understand. You will always be able to buy a perpetual license. Meaning, you pay one time and get to use the software forever. The only difference with their new setup, is that you won't get new features unless you pay for a subscription or just buy a new version. So currently, everyone has version 1. Soon they will release version 2. My plan is just to keep my version 1 until a new version has a feature I want, then I will buy that new version. But that could be in 1 year, 5 years, or never.
