What?! No Naughty Don Rogers ads? He went mad with money but he'd be turning in his grave not getting a mention on a nostalgia site like this!

Haha Laughing my head off here haha Dazzlers I remember that one. I notice the name written on the back of the Lotto postcard is Sir Cedric Hardwick of Jutland Parade, Dalkeith. It's as if the actors act as though they are acting and voiceover so verbatim.

@@Allangulon IGA, Inc. is an American chain of grocery stores that operates in more than 30 countries. Unlike the chain store business model, IGA operates as a franchise through stores that are owned separately from the brand. Many of these stores operate in small-town markets and belong to families that manage them. It was founded in the United States as the Independent Grocers Alliance in 1926. The headquarters is in Chicago, Illinois.

This is not 87. Probably 84 You got an XE Giha advertised. (Actually said 1984 when I was typing this.)

@@every1665 It is definitely March 1984. XF in it's second generation would have been the car advertised if it were '87 and the Fairmont Ghia would have included EFI & power door locks and windows STANDARD : )

Plus "Govt & on road costs". Regardless, $9000 in 1984 is today's equalivent of $29000 (sourced from Inflation Tool) & that is A LOT of money for a boring old Toyota....
