I also noticed full auto is super faster when using 11.1 Lipo, my old switch was getting a delay but now instant faster firing!

We're glad you liked the ETU++! Regarding the motor, there can be many reasons why the motor heats up, stretching from something breaking or wearing out in the gearbox or the motor itself to the build simply being too tough for that particular motor. That would need to be consulted with a professional tech. The question also is, whether the motor is really heating up beyond what's acceptable, or the temperature is within reasonable limits.

You have to do it by trial and error. Our advice is to start with level 4. If there are double shots on semi, lower precocking level until the double shots are gone. If there are no double shots but you're not satisfied with the trigger reaction time, increase the precocking level until it's fast enough; or until you encounter double shots then lower precocking level by one.

Yes, you can replace either full auto or single to binary, i have mine where single is a precock and full auto is binary

Yes, our upgrade unit is smaller then most original ETU boards.

Hi, Yes, that's normal. The alarm threshold is 11.1V for 3S batteries, so it's supposed to beep when the battery reaches 10.7V. At that point battery is quite seriously discharged and it's strongly advised to replace it.

@@bansheetech9035 We don't think we received a message from Alex yet, at least not from anyone of that name regarding ETU++.

At this point it might either be the sector gear switch itself, and it would need to be replaced, or the wires might be damaged. You might try replacing the whole switch set inside the gearbox. To do that, you might buy new one or look for second hand sold by someone, who was installing a drop-in mosfet instead of ETU.

If you have a G&G M14 with a pre-installed ETU system, then yes, ETU++ will be just fine for that replica.

It's supposed to work with G&G replicas, and only those which have the G&G ETU system. You could use it with other replicas, but that involvs advanced teching skills, some basic electronics knowledge and installing your own switch set in the gearbox, so it's a massive DIY work.

With the G&G ETU system, also when our ETU++ upgrade is used, safety is based on the safety lever, which blocks the trigger. If that mechanism is not working properly, you won't have reliable safe.

To install ETU++, you need to have the "ETU" system in your replica. ETU system is made by G&G and is installed as a stock option in some of their replicas. It consists of an electronic board, special wiring and a set of mechanical contacts in the gearbox. To use our ETU++, the replica needs to have the G&G ETU wiring and contacts. That's unless you are ready to make a deep modification to the replica, where instead of using stock G&G ETU system, you would install custom switching and wiring. We describe how to do it on the last pages of ETU++ manual in PDF. That, however, is a complex task requiring time and lots of technical experience, and I'm only mentioning it for the principle.

Just to be clear, we don't recommend 11.1 V and 14.8 V batteries over 7.4 V. They are all just fine. We do recommend high "C" rating, though. That build should be fine, but there is a chance that the electronic fuse will activate due to excessive current that this configuration might draw.

@@perunairsoft4811 It works great when I prepare the 14.8 Lipo to reduce balance charge to "storage voltage" it is about 50 percent charge.Way lower than the full 16v or over.in the mid 15v level,which is only a few volts over a full 11.1 Lipo close to 13v.Current I am not sure about but my high torque 22TPA Seems to handle it well and with my ideal R.o.f. in 30's. I do get a few double shots on semi but the AB Breaking solves that! THANKS to Perun,you guys have the best affordable mosfet to accomplish all this!

For instance, we discourage from combining high speed motors with high speed gears, because in combination with a high C battery, they will lead to activation of the electronic fuse. Yes, the settings are stored even after you plug the battery out and then in again. To change them, you have to enter the programming mode and change them yourself.

Are you sure that you are setting the RoF reduction for the same selector position, where you have auto? For instance, if you activate RoF reduction, but in the programming mode for "SEMI", while you have auto on "AUTO", your automatic fire won't be affected. How do you mean the Li-Po alarm does not turn on? What are the symptoms?

@@perunairsoft4811 sorry it does work, it was just not as large of a reduction as I hoped. your website says around 30% at the highest setting and I roughly measured it to be around 35% so a nice reduction, I just didn't notice it at first. Very nice mosfet though!

Watch this video from 2:29 and observe where does the piston stops between shots depending on various active brake and precocking settings, that should give you the best idea. Active braking brakes the motor after each shot, so that in some builds double shots on semi can be avoided due to very fast fire rate. Precocking acts kind of opposite - it keeps the piston in the back, ready to shoot - but not really, because it also uses active braking for better control. Our recommendation is to use precocking for better trigger response, but remember to always "drop the spring" using spring release feature. In ETU++ and Hybrid series it's activated by selecting semi, then pulling and holding the trigger for 2-3 seconds (see from 0:28).

Yes, but it's not recommended. NiMh batteries are a much worse way of powering airsoft replicas than LiPo in general, because they lack current efficiency. LiPo of similar size and volume is moch more powerful. You can use a NiMh, but make sure that it has big capacity (at least 2000 mAh, preferably more). A NiMh battery won't work with high speed motors and gears unless it's really big.

We can't give a simple answer, because it depends on which part of the board we are talking about. We can just assure that should the temperature reach dangerous levels, the protection will kick in. By the way, it's hard to trigger this error. In most cases, if something goes wrong, the electronic fuse will activate first, unless the ambient temperature is really, really high.

We don't have any experience with this particular replica, but if it doesn't have auto, it might be necessary to work around it. You can either program it on other ETU replica and later use it in your SR25, or you can solder a switch between the selector signal wire and the common ground (as shown on page 8 in the ETU++ manual: perunairsoft.pl/etuplusplus.pdf), to act as a selector.

The funny thing is that in my eyes gearbox in SR25 is just the standard G2 gearbox. The same gearbox is in TR16(which one have full auto mode). Thats looks like you can take out gearbox from sr25 and programm it outside the body I haven't tested it yet but you also should be able to disassemble left side selector and programm etu++ with right side selector because the physical lock is only on the left side. This option sounds better than dissasembling full body ;d

@@TheMrNarrator I was thinking the same thing however I would be using it for pre-cock and from my understanding you need to deactivate it the same way and there's no way I'm going through with that hassle every time I want to release the tension on my spring. just going to throw and Aster in and call it a day.

@@meganfoxtrot6052 I see this comment was 8 months ago but surely you didn’t go with an aster? They are so terrible even with the quantum trigger and a clean install. Something always ends up going wrong. I had one ruin 3 titan batteries before we found out it was constantly drawing power because it was malfunctioning. I have also had my aster replaced at least 4 times do to malfunctions. Nothing to do with the install either just over time malfunctions.

So far ETU++ has been best tested with Option No. 1 motor and seems to work. Warhead generally works too, but there has been some reports about motor detection problems. This is something on which we are working right now.

I just ordered this perun mosfet so I will be using it with warheads and will let you know my findings then. I have been using warheads since they dropped with other brand mosfet and now I’m giving perun a try. Thank you for the reply.

Well, sort of. It will work with any gearbox, that has G&G ETU system in it. Unless you have standard G&G system somehow installed in your ATM gearbox, Perun ETU++ won't work there.

Unless there is a G&G ETU system inside, it won't work. If it's not there, we'd recommend Perun V2 Hybrid instead.

It depends on whether your SSG1 has the ETU system. If you have an electronic board in the battery compartment, then yes, you can replace it install our ETU++ instead, to use the additional options.

This electronic unit is designed to work with switch sets made by G&G for their ETU series. Our ETU++ will only work with replicas have these switches already installed. It's worth adding, that G&G installs ETU system in many gearbox types, so ETU++ be used with gearboxes other than V2, as long as a G&G switch set is present.

@@perunairsoft4811 actually I first tried it with an external contact switch for trigger and another momentary push button switch to program and some functions worked like semi auto but would get error lights for not finding sector gear rotations.still I had 5 shot burst working regardless.It is much easier with GG original trigger.

@@steveeklund1902 ETU++ is mainly thought for G&G replicas with original ETU switch set already in them, as it provides all necessary input. It won't work with standard contacts. ETU++ needs input not only from the trigger (and possibly also selector) to work correctly, but also from the sector gear. Without that it can't control the gearbox cycle, as it doesn't know when the sector gear does a whole revolution. @@perunairsoft4811 yes I could not get it working properly but it would fire a 5 round burst for some reason,just using a push button switch and a custom wire plug. Could not do anything else so I fixed my GG micro trigger switch.it had 1 loose wire to fix. Now works perfectly👍

It will work, if your gun double shooting(overspinning) becouse of fast gears. Active break should help you.

We just specified the overall voltage limit as 17 V. The closest battery to this would be a fully laden 4S Li-Po, which would have 16.8 V.

It depends on what you mean. If want to install DSG gearset in a replica with G&G ETU system, then yes, that's possible and it should work just fine. However, if you are mentioning the Firehawk replica by G&G with pre-installed G&G, it won't work because the sector gear doesn't have cams used for cycle detection, and the replica doesn't have G&G ETU system in the first place.

A mosfet can't ruin a gearbox. It isn't able to, for instance, spin the motor backwards or do something like that. If something breaks in the gearbox, it would have broken anyways because of wear or excessive load - regardless, whether our or a competitive mosfet, or standard contacts would have been used.

@@perunairsoft4811 Then tell me why after I plugged this is and set up the binary trigger setting, my piston spun 90 degrees to the right, stripping the teeth in the process.

@@Galahad993 This means that the piston was close to the end of it's service life and didn't survive intensive shooting on semi - something which shooting with binary trigger basically is. We recommend replacing the piston to a model with full metal rack, and having the rack glued to the rest of the piston using CA glue. Also, please make sure that AoE is correct.
