My problem is Casemiro and every CDM in fifa, terrible finishers yet they keep bombing forward. I avoid passing to them bcos as soon as you do they immediately run forward, then Modric will have to cover and Isco will drop back too. I haven't played Fifa in a while bcos of this.

Both Fifa and PES have somewhat robotic animations. Keep in mind they're videogames and it's hard enough to animate running, let alone running while dribbling a ball. The difference is that PES FEELS smooth while playing, whereas Fifa is often unresponsive and clunky while doing the simplest things like turning or passing. Not saying PES 18 looks perfect or anything, but Fifa 18 literally looks EXACTLY the same as 17. Why the fuck would I pay a dime for a game I already own? Might as well give PES 18 a shot

vikingsfan2218 that’s true. But then again even the players with the worst dribbling skills could dribble and handle the ball. Only thing I hate about PES is that the turnings are instant. In reality not everyone can turn that fast especially because some players don’t have balance.

Holsen20 that's why I'm buying PES instead of FIFA this year. I played the free to play my club, and the gameplay is so smooth. FIFA feels sluggish sometimes.

I don't understand why people say they don't see any difference in the gameplay. Their gameplay in the last 2 years has been miles better Vs FIFA. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Also PES' presentation and the way the players can move around at set pieces have been vastly improved. Overall, looking forward to PES 18!!!

The movement of the players in PES 2018 looks so God damn real. I agree with you, EA Sports Fifa players move like robots, LOL. The only reason why they dick riding Fifa is because it probably has a more complete roster of soccer players and teams. PES is more fun in my opinion.

I think they still need to workout the animations. Nonetheless they have improved on that field and on the set pieces...looks good...better than fifa. Now it's gonna be a matter of licences.

soufldn21 Fifa has realistic animations. Cartoonish is PES16 and 17. It literally looks like a cartoon. Im sorry to break it to you but after PES15, the game went downhill on next gen consoles. PES is only good on old generation. PS1/Nintendo and PS2 era, PES was king.

no edit gamer Dj People hate because of the actual game-play and how the players move around etc. Yes the graphics are amazing and the presentation of it looks amazing. But it boils down to the game-play and how it feels , and for me and I think most people it's not that good. That's why again like me and others we prefer Fifa because it's feels more realistic with the movement of the players and how they do things. Don't get why people are saying PES is the best , it's clearly not if you look at the sale figures from last year 😂 but maybe 1 day PES will be up there really competing with Fifa and take over as best football game.

Won't happen EA has exclusive deals with those leagues and teams so what you're asking for is the impossible at the moment also they have a way bigger budget for it too compared to Konami. PES has never been about licenses the only time it had loads of licenses was PES 2013 but after that EA got sacred then blocked Konami from getting anymore remember the series had all of La Liga until PES 2017 when it was gone thanks EA!!

I play both. I love both. FIFA so good in player movement and license team. While PES they improve year by year. I can say that later in future, PES will be back on top for football game like in the past where Winning Eleven overpowered FIFA.

i also played much of the time fifa and little time pes but after watching this video looks a bit more realistic , you aproximatelly feel that you play football and not a game .. But also pes has some downs like you fell all the players have the same height , the power of the shoots is not so realistic also the movement of the goalkeeper in a free kick

Fifa players to be honest look the same from a distance,they run the same and they run like they're on roller skates. If you think that's normal, you need to get yourself to the nearest emergency room and get checked!!!! I buy both games every time they come out and to be honest PES is always the game we end up playing more because it just does not feel scripted. Fifa ends up collecting dust and for that I don't think I'm gonna buy it this time,guess we'll leave that to you!!!

Not with keepers and also they need a better engine that doesn't make PES like a robotic game. Tho tbh, FIFA goalkeepers are pretty useless and crappy. Your defense messes up, you concede. Even if u got 99 GK in ur team.

"every year,same gameplay" ... are you crazy? have you played them? what is that you want from a football game? robotic? really? there's no need to convince someone to something they can't see! looks pretty nice and the animation is ok . I have not played any football game since fifa 13 i played pes 13 too . Pes looks good this year . And idk about fifa18

FarOoQ ScOrpiOn I'm actually good with that. Theres enough visual improvements, animations, UI overhaul and a smoothness to the gameplay that I can absolutely justify purchasing this. PES 2017 had really fun gameplay and PES has been on the up and up so I'm glad they aren't changing unnecessary things

JTL why do you always have to compare it to fifa 18 ffs if there arent any changes to gameplay in pes, there isn't. Regardless of whats happening with fifa 18.

black night the free kicks mechanics changed. We no longer see the line that helps us aim. Better ball control. Facial expressions that fifa frostbite engine can't do. Graphics improved, not that noticeable tho. Lastly, the AI are much better and they fixed the soccer shorts instead of xxxl shorts.

after 3 years of testing the new engine they have finally mastered it. It has been very worth it to stay with pes, thank you konami

Es muy notorio el cambio. Ponga Pes 2017 y Pes 2018 al mismo tiempo y lo verá. Pero solo un jugador de pes notará los avances.

Los chetotiros siguen igual,los empanamientos tambien ,solo meten unas nuevas animaciones y lo mejoran graficamente eso es todo .. en la jugabilidad sigue siendo lo mismo , aclaro no me gusta fifa

Loved PES 2013. Then the disaster with 2014... switched to FIFA14 (PS3). Was surprised with FIFA 15 on PS4 and stayed with FIFA then (but i'm not a fan of buying football games every year but luckily a friend bought FIFA16 and loaned it to me after just 1 month and i still have it here). FIFA 17 then was again a great game. Played all the demos from PES since 15 and sure the are good games but to be honest FIFA really made a step ahead in Gameplay. This gameplay here looks good but it's way to fast for my taste.

I think the robotic movement is what kept the gameplay more natural, fifa has smooth animations but the gameplay felt like computer program, lacked of freedom.

Pes has like 6 leagues from wich only 3 are licensed. Fifa 17 is the most beautiful football game Ive ever seen so far.

I am a Pes fan,I think the gameplay and everything is just awesome and that's nothing against Fifa. But imagine they both came together and made one game....that would be an interesting set up right there.
