I've something similar. It doesn't work either. Putting things out on the line in a strong wind works better.

I live in a HOA (Home Owners Association) where the community have rules on thing you can have inside your property to make sure all houses look good and to keep the value of the properties as high as possible. A clothes line in the backyard is a hugeee No is 97% of HOA in America. Also apartment building don’t allow them , some mayor cities ordinances don’t allow them either the only people that can have something like that is people that live in the deep country.

@@TheMalamutePack That's so environmentally unfriendly. Everyone using electricity to dry their clothes when the sun is free. In Europe most people use a dryer but that's because there is little sun. We still had lines outside though.
