When you use the chom chom you need to go back and forth at a rapid pace to create the static electricity needed to pick up the hair

Yes, you are right. All of these were unboxed and I was new to all of them. It does work much better with a back and forth motion.

My mastiff seems to be shedding an entire dog every day. Shedding in animals might be same as humans and can show up weeks or even months later, as a result of something. A month ago we had 113 degree temps and it's continuous. It's been unusually hot here this summer so I think that's the biggest reason for the shed. Max has a bit more longer, curlier type hair too. Nothing has really been changed in diet so I target the reason more so because of the weather. Either way, as a mastiff lover, we just come to term with big dog shed & big dog slober, big dog everything. We do the best to try keep up. I try to bath every two weeks with an oatmeal shampoo. I sweep daily. And try to wipe down slobber daily. One thing that's been helpful is we live in a motorhome, so we don't have much area to keep up with. Since we travel, our backyard changes all the time. Max and I take advantage of the great outdoors as we both love being outside, weather permitting He's my guardian angel and adventure pup. Thank you Steph for your vid on fur removal. It was very informative and greatly appreciated. Vacuums definitely don't seem to work for vehicle carpet. I have also been thinking of getting a rubber matt lining for the back of our jeep. I think it will be a huge time-saver, although will still need a brush or roller for some hair removal. We are looking forward to fall and some repreave. Thanks again for another wonderful video. I laughed so hard seeing all that fur stuck to your clothes. I can totally relate.
