This is great. Look at how the game was generally played closer to the basket due to no 3 point line.

Walt hazzard didnt have much game and watt bellamy was erratic.They should have accepted maravich gaiven him the ball and gotten out of his way.

Thank you for the history lesson, Mr. Historian609. Some white kid outta' college was paid a million bucks to play ball, and this drove black folks nuts! I don't blame em' Some were just as good (if not better) than him. Did you read Pistol: The Life of Pete Maravich? Awesome book! Thanks for your comment!

They werent better. Pistol perfected his craft through tedious practice and amazing skills. He made the game exciting to watch.
