NYC this made my lunch break today. Always like to hear Pete’s stories. I find Freddy to be one of the most interesting people associated with the crew. Awesome that Pete was at Woodstock! I was there too……but it was in 2019 for the 50th anniversary. Lol take care. 👍

Pete's a Legend, he was at Woodstock! Makes me want to watch old footage of woodstock to see if he was unknowingly captured on film in any of them, kind of like trying to find Stacks in old Ali footage.. New York was a wild place in the 70's and 80's man, what an interesting time.. Eh I was watching a Veterans day video you made a while back, your Gramps was in a bunch of movies hey, I thought that was pretty cool

Hey Nyc thanks for asking Pete. Wow I didn’t know that he lived on the block. I figured he did know Phil because Phil was good friends with Harvey at one time until Harvey said something bad about his sister and Phil went ahead and beat the crap out of him. Robert was one of Harvey’s brothers. He wore eyeglasses. Some kids stole my baseball cards one time, and Robert went after them. Him and Todd used to protect me all the time. They were great people and friends with our family. Thanks again! And keep up the great work!

@kingarthur44194 ай бұрын
@@nyccrimespot It really is a small world. wish I could remember him. I was so young. And I do want to clear something up. The Phil that I was referring to was Phil who had a sister Gail. There was also Harvey’s next door neighbor Phil who had a sister Joanie. Don’t know which one he knew but Phil with the corvette was the one who had a sister Gail. He lived directly across the street from Harvey and Fat Phil. I’d love to rattle off a few names of some folks on the block to see if Pete knew them, including my parents. We lived next door to the Losquadros. They owned the beer distributors on Utica Ave.off Ave H across from Vita Bella Pizzeria.

These stories have been a breath of fresh?? Well rotten air. Into Mob tube. Brilliant love from Edinburgh Scotland

One of his Funny cars still exists in CT. I'm sure you can find it on Google. Has John Travolta on the hood with a machine gun. Pontiac Firebird body. Ask Pete what the best anti theft device he ever encountered.

brett is there anyway you can tweak petes set up (i dunno if he's close to you or what) and maybe its not possible but i just work in an audio field and feel like the fidelity of pete's audio could be better then it is. it probably has a lot to do with his voice but i still think or wish it was a little better. and again might just be a minor thing because love what yals are doing just want it to be best it can be.

Pete "the pick" describing places from my 1970s Flatlands childhood. The Jack in the Box was a hamburger joint on Ralph Ave around Farragut Road. Used to go there as a kid. One question I had about Harvey. Did he at one time, live in the Flatbush Terrace building complex? (The 5 buildings between Utica Ave and East 54 Street between Ave I and J?). Great interview! Thanks so much.

so with the chimp thing, an interesting topic and thing about history in nyc is they had some lax laws or something was going on with animals and illicite animal trade in the i dunno 40-70s maybe earlier. i am no expert only that ive constantly heard stories from different time periods in nyc having to do with either the trade or keeping of exotic animals(what a place for that to go on nyc go figure...). but it goes back to joe gallo and his lion and their are other examples of mob guys keeping wild animals like that. i even think nyc was the location of a made up story where their was a break out of a zoo and abunch of people got killed and it cause fucking mayhem in the city, completely fabricated by an editor of some newspaper just to get publicity.
