Great interview, but Pete calling Senter a good guy just shows how that whole group of guys have no moral compass. Good guys don't kill people right? If Roy wouldn't have been killed would he be getting out as well? Great job Brett
@peted48668 ай бұрын
You do a great job walking that unbiased line and making him comfortable on some of the questions that are delicate. It's tuff when you have built a friendship and already know the person well enough to know what they might be sensitive about to still cover those things and it not become awkward or confrontational, or make it seem like you you sugar coat anything to your audience. Very well done and I love that it felt more like a conversation we were in on rather than just a scripted interview.

The guy is a moron. A talking about Senter like he deserves to be free when he killed so many people for nothing. Trying to say how he did more good than he did bad, when he was quite litterally a serial killer. Athough he has a valid point regarding Sammy the Bull, he is talking pure shit about Senter, because Senter was a multiple murderer regardiess. If he only killed one person, or even just 2 people, i might be in agreement that he should get parole, but this guy is said by several people, to have killed way over 10 people. And so i really do not believe, if thats true, that he should ever be released from jail. Regardless of if he only did it hecause he was following Roy. He was still basicaĺly a serial killer. Simple...

@VitoMartucci.jr.215ton.y2 Featherstone and Sammy both walked the streets free men after killing and dismembering bodies, both still very much a threat to society at the time...but the government didn't care as long as they got their information. These guys have served 30+ years behind bars, and stand to lose their freedom again should they mess up. It's not that they're 68, it's that they've had a lot of time to think about what they did and why! I don't make the rules. He's getting out whether people like it or not. Its easy to see both sides, for and against his release. The thing that put it into perspective is that they couldn't say no to an order from Roy. They knew way too much after the first murder, so they had to either go along with it or go to the law and talk. Who's to say that their conscience never got to them and they sat around sometimes thinking of going to the cops? They might have, except it must give you second thought when you see all the crooked cops on Roy and Nino's payroll. To add, great interview. You asked plenty of questions that I wanted to know and the audio is so much better. God bless you both.

Hi NYC Crime Spot, Love your programming, and Thanks to Pete for his insight and perspectives, valuable to anyone interested in this whole topic. I've commented one or twice before. Since it is fairly well established that Roy became one of the most serious mafia killers in their history, and by many accounts even enjoyed "his work", I'm not sure why you find it silly or weird that he may have killed for fun; he enjoyed killing, as Sammy indicated by purported claims he made when interacting with him. Unless you can discount Dominick's claim too, you could always tell when he came around this crew if they did a "piece of work", they were excited, animated, on a high. If they hadn't, they'd would be moping around, down, etc. I believe Sammy's recollections are fairly accurate, as when he had a meeting with him and couple others in a restaurant, and Roy seemed distracted, when Sammy brought it up, Roy said no he wasn't disinterested, just musing to himself that if he had a couple 9mm's he could kill all these old people sitting around in the restaurant... Why the Hell Sammy would invent or make up this story eludes me, I'm sorry. No reason to do it in my opinion. And, if the story is true, the other claims he made concerning Roy do not seem all that "out there"...

No body, No crime. Moreover he had the method down so well, they were so good, that's not surprising. Another thing, some of his rhetoric could also be to make an impression on Sammy, from what I gather he had some respect for him...Unfortunately his rhetoric turned Sammy off!
