Peter & Test tube babies is the best punk band and the mating sound of south american frogs the best punk album (with Frankenchrist - Dead Kennedys) I'm still listening that at 41 and it gives me the strenght to go to work some mornings.

I've listened to the mating sound of south american frogs and Soberphobia at work so many times. I don't want to jinx it, but it never really does get old.

me too, I saw Peter & the Test Tube Babies several timea love when young, even met them inperson in London amd later in Boxhuma t a concert, great band, but sadly lost later to age... now voice and body gone...

The mid 80's were a brilliant era, and these guys were a big part of it for me! First times saw them was in 83 at Newcastle along with the fits! Fuck me what a great gig! Thanks for the great memories guys!

You're a lucky man. Never got to see them as I live in Australia. Did get to speak with Peter on the phone once after buying some CD's though. Nice bloke, and I was completely blown out by his call. Loved them back then and still do today.

This band is my most seeing band .think over 30 times live near and in hamburg. Love them grow up with their music from 14 to now 55. no doubt that mating sound of... Is the best punk album ever.

For those of you guitarists out there trying to downpick the entire intro to the song at this bpm (like 185 or something) and can't get through the entire thing, swap to alternate picking utilizing outside picking rather than inside. They 100% sped this portion of the song up in the studio. He plays it at like half speed live. But utilizing outside alternate picking you can generate the speed and accuracy and it still sounds clean.
