That would be amazing. Maybe something like have a group of several artists take two squares and draw one complete image on the two squares, then they trade. The artist who receives them has to separate the two squares and draw an image using them as a base, but without drawing over them. Then at the end, they remove the two squares and fill in the blanks, then swap till each artist has had a turn with each set and then you can compare the images that were made, all starting from the same “seeds.”

Great style. I'd like to see you do almost the reverse, where you have a large sheet with just a small square cut out and you shift that over your paper, so you are only seeing the small square at any point and the rest of the doodle is constantly obscured and unseen for reference.. see how that turns out. Also I bet this would work with yellow postit squares too. ...interesting parcel opening technique

It's a real word, because many, many people use it, and everyone understands what it means. It still doesn't make any sense though. "Irregardless" should be the opposite of "regardless", but it's far from the only example of a word that means the opposite of what it should (e.g. inflammable and flammable are synonyms).

Irregardless is a real word, because the only criteria for being a real word are a) people use the word and b) other people understand what the word means. Real word or not, though, it's not a good word to use if you want to be widely understood. I don't use "irregardless" for the same reason I don't use "inflammable", they both sound like they mean the opposite of what they actually mean. You could just say "regardless" or "flammable" and completely avoid any misunderstanding.

Just a sidenote: doing multiple things at once like this and as he described, is symptomatic of adhd. Splitting focus can actually help quiet the mind and keep you better concentrated on what you're trying to do. Generally one task you're working on or giving the most attention to, along with a few other simple/repeatative ones that act as physical white noise.

Thank you Peter, this video is exactly what I needed!! I draw the way you do, just starting at a point on the paper, finding something I like and doing more of it. I've felt totally stuck lately and not having fun with my drawings, but I am very excited to try out this method. You have truly helped me develop my style as an artist more than probably any other person. Would love to see more process-oriented videos like this (and the 2-step doodle one)!

Joe Ferguson Lol! Brilliant. Did he obey your commands, or was he irregardless? I tried to clicker-train our cats when they were kittens, having seen amazingly successful results on KZfaq - but they remained irregardless of all my commands. They ate the snacks, though. They have always been perverse. They sleep beside the cat bed and not in it, and they are the only cats I’ve ever known that don’t like cat mint.

Hi Peter! 👋🏻. Why do you pronounce the “W” in “drawing” so heavily? Is it an accent (where from?), or are you just being cute with it? ( where I come from we say “ drahh-ing”, I guess). Not criticizing, just very curious. I’ve never heard anyone else say it like you do. I love your channel! Thanks!! 🥰😇🌹❣️🌼🌼🌼

Irregardless isn't a word peter. It's regardless
@kyleguajardo

It technically is a word, but it is considered a non standard one. It is used in place of "Without regard to" or just as another form of "regardless" but it is weird as hell.

you’re already very skilled at doodling intricate designs, which I think would explain why the end result felt similar to your usual. I think this is a great exercise for people (like me) who are a little apprehensive of intricate, full page illustrations in this style. I think I’ll try this with random scrap shapes of paper I have around!
