The most complete player in history, no doubt about that. He had everything, speed, dribbles, right foot, left foot, headers...but most of all, he had that gift to push the team to victory when it was needed. A true warrior, an inspiration for younger generations not only in football. Even of you hate him, you have to respect his never ending drive to push forward and to become better. He is almost 39 now and there is no sign that he will stop anytime soon.

Why would anyone even doubt him? I truly don't understand. Sure, messi has better goals per game ratio, but in laliga where Messi played his whole life, Ronaldo still has the better ratios. In world cup, Ronaldo has better ratios, it's only because he played as a midfielder in premiere league and Messi was a false 9 or centre forward at the debt, that Messi has more goals ratio. Also, Messi played in weaker psg leagues, and Laliga as compared to Ronaldo's premiere, that's the only reason why Messi has better ratios. What's there to look further than this.

@@ishiokitetsu4107 Messi has played in ligue 1 for one and a half seasons. La liga was better than Premier league back then with real madrid. Plus Messi has both better goal and assist ratio for UCL. He has the most MOTM and a better average match rating by far. "better league" will not work... Messi is the better goalscorer and obviously the better footballer

Even if his return didn't go as planned, I'm still so happy he returned, he brought back something that hasn't been in the club for a while, passion for the game in the true Mancunian way, and I hope he stays to be a part of the rebuilding process to restore this club's past glory. What a Man!!!
