@Luka Luka-Luka. There might be something. I just saw on IMDB a short film on "Mikey and Nicky". Haven't viewed it yet, but added to my watchlist.

The closest thing you might find is on Tarantino's podcast where he talks about calling her up and asking where she was coming with regarding the film and she talks about a real life scenario which had an awful situation in the end.

I loved this movie. I saw it here on KZfaq. It was so well-written, directed, and acted. Everyone I recommended this movie to was like "I've never heard of it." Then they watched it, and most come back to me and asked, "Why haven't I heard about this???"

Peter Falk had the great fortune for playing a magnificent role. All of his other work should be look at more it's all good.

I love this movie. I first saw it years ago and loved it, happened to catch it a few weeks ago on Epix and remembered how great it was. Just picked up the Criterion blu ray last week....it's like watching it the first time. Watching these old guys makes me smile, days when everybody wasn't all sensitive about everything and just knew how to have fun. God I miss John and Peter.

Just watched part on Amazon Prime. Next day it was no longer free for viewing. Fortunately, It is on KZfaq and the screen quality seems just as good.

I remember Peter Falk as Columbo. An interesting fact was that he was good friends with John Cassavetes, Gena Rowlands, and Ben Gazzarra.
