Avalon was quintessential album for the " 80's sound". Totally unique at the time. I love the fact the Peter used it as the "go to" recording for setting up stereo equipment. Mine was Donald Fagan's The Night Fly. Thank you Peter for posting this. I cant wait for the album.

I had a few songs/albums as well for tuning my audio system including to this very day. Avalon will always be one of those albums! But...? I totally get it...cant go wrong with Night Fly either. Huge fan of both, maybe Roxy Music/Avalon more. But Night Fly is another really really good album as well to tune your audio system! True audiophile in my book, when you start to really get that.

My absolute favorite vynyl is your album frampton comes alive repeat for hours at a time every time you listen the more you can pick up on what the band was all playing it was wild although I did remember every single girl was in love with this rock star Peter frampton god bless you and you still have it!!!
