Jamel, you are incredible with your capacity to enjoy great music to the fullest. So many other "reaction" videos are bland and lame. You get the feeling that the people doing the reactions are mailing it in, but not Jamel. As for Peter Frampton, the virtuosity and musicality of his playing in this live performance is breathtaking. Also, his backing musicians are exceptional, especially the keyboardist. This recording has been a favorite of mine for many years.

Man I lived it. The 70's is when i grew up. I lived all of this stuff. 5 in 1970. I feel very honored that I got to experience one of the greatest eras in rock music. Yes bell bottoms, Raleigh Choppers, CB radios. It was a great time to grow up. We had no internet but it didn't matter. My brother had this album on 8 track. I used to have a T shirt of the album in 76

I don't even listen to the radio no longer think God for you tube and Pandora. The last time I listened to the radio was nine years ago it was a classic rock in roll station and the Dj named Max Oates. He had my name all over the world for nine years people from all over the world were calling him to ask about me I even had singers give me shout outs because their music was flying off the shelves because people had for gotten about songs or for got who sung what. My name was on the Jay Leno show twice for what reason I didn't know my sister's boyfriend told me about it. Even though iam black I listen to all kinds of good old music even country music like Harper valley PTA even had him play gospel music and country music plus soul and rock and people told him to play anything I requested iam the only one on my job can play music even at the seven eleven. They will let me stay there in play music as loud as I want to lol it's run by India people. No matter how late it is the police will run everyone away but me and than they will dance sometime to the music I be playing on my job it be all kinds of race dance to my music kids also some times the customers won't go in to the restaurant until I go inside or leave to go home LoL some of the people don't even speak English but they be jamming 🐒lok

It seemed that everyone had this album. I was a student at Howard. At a house party a student from U of Maryland put this on. All the sudden black students from Howard and white students from Maryland,Georgetown, George Washington and maybe a couple other locals schools started jamming. It was magical. Love was in the air as we used to say. Everyone just loving it and dancing together. One my most cherished memories from college.

Sweet story. The weird part is Frampton sort of “fell out of the sky.” I wouldn’t say he was *unknown* but he wasn’t a household name. Then *this*. Suddenly he was the voice of the 70s. Just caught a wave and was fire for quite a few minutes. Frampton is a mindset. He’s a moment in time. Enjoy the memory.

Paul Edwards Amazing as it sounds people thought he just fell from moon or something. But I knew of him when he was with a group called the Herd. But when he joined Humble Pie he was better known for his guitar work not his vocals. Of course when you have Steve Marriott as your lead vocalist why bother singing

Rogers Collier I was likely too young to know of his earlier work. Plus, I came from a rural community where we weren’t exactly “encouraged” to embrace rock music. Still... even in the cow pastures of my youth... Frampton was just friggin omnipresent. This album was definitely a turning point in a generation’s “mood.” All my friends had this. Lol.

I worked in the tech business in Seattle- lots and lots of people from other countries. I remember trying to explain the cultural significance of this album to American teenagers. When the crowd knew it was time for "Do You Feel...", everyone was on their feet, and as he starting playing the notes leading up to the outro solo, I had tears in my eyes. The crowd erupted as he talk-boxed the "Woahhhhhhhhhhhh....." Into the solo. An epic piece of music by an epic performer who is also a wonderful human being. I'm glad this music is still resonating.
