Peter is better than in the 70's. I don't know of any other rockstar that can say this. He's more refined, solos are better, singing is better, etc. You aren't hearing just a regurgitated album song.

Started watching this at 530pm last night cuz was not going to make his show- he played in town. First two songs are great but I had never heard them! Wife said you have to go and I went! WORTH IT! Next time he may be in a wheelchair but if hands are working- I’ll be there.

Great to hear the voice of 1976. A virtuouso and the very sound of summer back then, a nice guy. And rather gorgeous! Glad to hear he's playing, singing so well. Hope he stays well as long as possible.

Thank you for capturing this: it is excellent. What a tight and killer band. Some deep cuts ('The Crying Clown'). And 'Golden Goose' was not only a rousing opener but also a reminder that there are many great pre-'Frampton Comes Alive' tunes that had fallen off the radar over the years. Also, Peter's playing is exceptionally fierce here, with his jazz influences being very evident. Him being seated seems to let him focus on his playing. And what a great sound he still gets. A great audience, too.

We were at the LA Greek Theatre show on 4/13/24. It was cold and wet but I would not miss it. Many of his arrangements highlighted his Jazz roots. At times I thought that I was at a Jazz show, especially when he played All I Wanna To Be (Is By Your Side). What a memory!

Thought I'd stop and take a quick look at how Peter's sounding. The opening big screen montage of seminal moments in Peter's career captivated me and when he and his band began to play, I was blown away by how great they sound. His band is so good. Legendary drummer Dan Wojlechowski and top shelf producer & artist whose played with everyone, Rob Aurthur on keys. Peter's playing was incredible as always. His banter & humor, warm and witty. His spirit, up beat and encouraging. Cool vid man.

I commented this on a recent Christopher Cross performance, but both Peter Frampton and Christopher Cross’s voices sound amazing even today. You don’t have to say “for their age. “ Both are still killing it, and in many ways have gotten better. It’s super impressive, given that many artists today can’t even do their own stuff live without huge help

Whenever you feel like you're nearing the end of your rope, don't slide off. Tie a knot. Keep hanging on, keep remembering, there ain't nobody bad like you." Then dropping the needle on side one of Frampton Comes Alive playing sides 1,2,3 & 4, followed by both sides of Parliament's Funkadelic, then all of Travelogue by The Human League. Up next, full sides of LP's by Genesis, Kreftwerk and Prince. Complete freedom to explore theater of the mind, laying down soul, funk, new wave and rock, most every night, midnight to 5am on WJLB for a time, too a short time.

Hey brother, I hear where you're coming from. How can you fully enjoy the event if not giving 100% attention? I gotta say, one of my pet peeves are people who just won't put the phone down. I mean, I take short clips and photos but am generally pretty quick and discreet about it. But sometimes, often, there are those who shoot entire shows with no inkling of situational awareness. My take is; as long as he wasn't impeding anyone's enjoyment or view, And as long as he respected the artist's request pertaining to live streaming, photography and not violating proprietary content, then how he deems to best enjoy the show is his own to determine. Might not jibe with how we would choose to enjoy it, but it was his thing. I benefited from his post because, 1) I didn't know Frampton was in the shape he's in and 2) it was great to see him jam, he hasn't lost any of his guitar chops and his band was fantastic. One another note, I thought the sound was terrific. Much better than I would've expected. I'll cop to clicking on the post because it was a glimpse into Peter's tour from the night before, a fresh look. I got lulled into the vid as I got caught up in the opening with the Peter's seminal moments flicking through his glory days. It was captivating when he took the stage and was sitting, no clue as to his health, but we all age. I'll admit the times the camera got choppy or drop down brought me back to remembering I wasn't watching a polished concert video. That said, I'm glad he captured and posted the gig.
